There are TONS of people that want this. That's the problem. If America were "sane", then Trump's dumb ass wouldn't have been elected the first time. And certainly not after his first 4 years where he proceeded to fuck up a bunch of stuff, gave tax breaks to billionaires, and got tons of people killed by not taking COVID seriously.

EDIT: Everyone needs to do their part. Waiting for Biden to wave his magic wand to save us is partially what got us in this mess. Don't get me wrong. If Trump wins and things go REAL south? Then do what you gotta do. But until then? Do what you can as a citizen and hope there are enough sane people that agree with you.

People trying to prevent that from happening before its too late have good reason to start bending the rules. Republicans have been breaking them left and right. Democrats need to realize we aren't even playing the same game as them at this point.

If Biden tries any of what has been suggested, the American experiment is over before the election happens.

But at the end of the day, what I'm saying is that it's on the American people to beat this. I'm well aware of voter suppression, gerrymandering, etc. If enough people had the common sense to vote for the person who didn't admit they were going to be a dictator (but only on the first day lol), it would be more than enough to overcome those hurdles.

Yeah. It's totally unfair. But it's easier to break something than build it. Trump can do anything he wants because he only cares about himself. The only thing he wants is to stay out of jail and potentially get revenge. Biden has the entire nation to think about and the second he tries to lock anyone up in an attempt to "save the democracy" then Republicans will immediately cry victim and claim all their comments about "deep state" and that bullshit are proven correct.

The American people are the only ones with the power to stop this. It's shitty because it's been a comedy of errors to get to this point pretty much starting from the end of the Civil War but that's where we are right now. And the only safe way to even attempt to end this is for the voters to shit on Trump and his cronies so hard they'll think twice about trying it again. And they WILL try again.

Remember shit is bad because the people who are doing it have been either elected by the people or been nominated by people elected by the people. Trump doesn't get elected, the Supreme Court looks a whole lot different. And no, you can't blame Hillary Clinton for everything. Even if you hate her, she was uniquely qualified for the position but Trump won because he was a loud rich guy people knew from the TV. The fact that he won after that "Grab 'em by the pussy" tape is solely on the American people. They knew what kind of person he was. Voted him in anyway.

Yes, the Electoral College as it stands is bullshit but it should NEVER have been that close to begin with. Much like this election. In theory, Trump shouldn't be sniffing the White House again. He's a convicted felon that's most likely compromised by foreign interests and everyone knows it. If he wins again after losing to Biden once already? Especially after he had a "rough debate" which somehow erases the fact that Trump was ranting about H20 and "black jobs"? That's on America. Racism is apparently more important than freedom.

Of course it's not what many people want to hear but all that stuff just isn't feasible. If Biden actually tried to do something "radical" in regards to the Supreme Court or Trump he would instantly trigger civil war.

Everyone wants things to be fixed but no one wants to be the ones to do it. And unfortunately in this case, the American people are the only ones who can "fix" this. If enough of them voted to stop this bullshit then Republicans would have no choice but to listen if they wish to remain with any kind of power. If enough Americans cheer the idea of a strongman dictator who won't cede the office after 4 more years unless he hands it down to his kids because those people are too worried about being racist and sexist to care?

America gets what it deserves.

Conservatives KNOW liberals are spineless and would NEVER try to take advantage of this in any way like people are talking. But by the same token if they DID, it immediately legitimizes conservatives to do any bullshit they want pretty much for all time by playing the victim.

Literally the ONLY way to stop this is for people to go out and vote it down. Otherwise America gets what it deserves. That's pretty much it.

If Trump wins, everything goes away and hopefully he doesn't kill us.
If Trump loses, he'll still be on the hook for "unofficial acts" and hopefully he doesn't kill us.

I'd vote for the corpse of Biden over Trump. People need to remember they're voting for more than just which guy sits in the Oval Office. Biden could win and immediately keel over dead and I'd be fine with that. Provided there's a better chance to unfuck the Supreme Court and to not have to worry about the end of democracy with Project 2025 for at least 4 more years.

I'm gonna have to go with Putin on this one.

It's not so much the debate or even Trump and Biden but it's so frustratingly brazen how in the tank the media is for Trump. The debate doesn't really matter that much because even if Biden demolished Trump, all the media will focus on will be those first 10 minutes and any fact-checking will occur after the debate when the audience has turned it off.
