It's an ice-type attack with a base power of 70, accuracy of 100, and pp of 20. Freeze-Dry deals damage and has a 10% chance of freezing the target. Unlike other Ice-type moves, it deals super-effective damage to Water-type Pokmon, even during Inverse Battles or if the user has the Normalize Ability. I think it's a great attack that I wish opened the door to a lot more appropriate interactions. One idea I had many years ago was for a poison type attack called "Corrosion" that dealt super effective damage towards steel types. It is the name of an ability for Salazzle where it could poison steel types. Overall I think the attack is really cool and I'm glad it is in the game. It having a lower BP than other ice type attacks kind of balances out its very powerful side effect. I wish there were others like it that don't necessarily target resistances but are still thematic. common example that makes no fucking sense: Magcargo, 18,000 degree body is 2x the temperature of the sun. And yet the pokemon world isn't completely obliterated. Interesting. "b-b-b--b-b-b-b-bb--but what about Ghost types?" nothing. If Lions are a normal type, then who cares? Bite is a dark type move that is super effective against Ghosts. I personally believe that because Lions are not Pokemon, they would be typeless, which would inflict neutral damage on everything (as seen in the Pokemon attack struggle), but even if they aren't, there's no reason why biting wouldn't work. All the "GODS" of Pokemon are thwarted, again, by 10 year olds. And nothing these "GODS" do are unbeatable. Even in the Pokemon canon an Arceus can get beaten by a Rattata.
