They are edible. And good pollinators. People don't like them because the US has the strangest obsessed with haveing a 'perfect lawn' ~Which aren't perfect at all. Yet at the same time, blowing the seeds of a Dandelion bloom is considered one of the most romantic images ever. I'm ready to upgrade ('14 Charger) but I can't find anything more modern that doesn't have a tablet built into it. The Charger has one, and I don't like it at all, hated it from day one. The temperature controls are on it, media controls are on it (yet no media controls on the steering??). I don't want to play with a touchscreen while I'm driving. I want to goddamn drive while I'm driving. Give me buttons. Yup, I agree They are obnoxious. My last car had a mode where could shut off ever display except the speedometer. It does feel that after all the stories of sexual abuse and exploitation a good chunk of pepole are regressing to pre 1950's culture norms in some ways of now making it like seeing any sexuality as offensive....in the sense that sex is starting to be something pushed out of site. Just look at how desexualized so many movies and shows are now...we are at the point where even a little sexualization is seen as abuse so it feels like anything that's not a porn movie/ show about sex has become sexless because any thing that even hints at" power imbalance" makes a lot think that product should be canceled. Right around the corner is R R, an Irish Pub. But yes, I have visited The Mountains that the lizard people are from. ^^That's a deep reference. No, in my case it was a place in town. About a 15 minute walk. The Bar was called Icoe's (SP?)...But it was often called Phycos. Their matches had a Steely on it. So I suppose it was when Phish still had a real Grateful Dead cover band aspect. But ya, that road was sketchy back when I was like 16-19. There are double digits worth of Bars in a tiny place. This would have been in the 90's.
