This. Suspensions can end up as just warnings (it's rare except in the case of profile violations, but it can happen). Once a purg is applied, outside of extreme circumstances it sticks.

Depends how much we're talking. For context such a road would generally be a 100 zone here, but most people (including me) are more likely to go 105 - 110. Someone going 90, I'd pass. 95 would depend on my mood. 100 I wouldn't bother.

Just a reminder.

You can use alts to get around your main being warned or losing CE access (once the purg that caused it has finished), or just for the sake of using alts in general, but not to get around a suspension / purg / ban.

(At least, this is what a mod told me a while back, and I've seen nothing to suggest it's changed.)

What I sure as fuck don't get is people actively trying to deflect and defend, or worse, outright praising Biden, on this matter, when literally the only justification they can come up with is "orange man worse". Sure, he is. Doesn't change a fucking thing about that Biden is awful too and needs to be called out for it and pressured via any means possible to change his stance. It also raises some very big questions about whether the people engaging in such deflection perhaps are in favor of the approach Biden is taking, given how much they try to push back against criticism of it. Doubly so in the cases of people who weren't so worried when Biden was criticised on other matters.

The issue is that younger voters feel none of the options represent them. Going from several options that don't represent them, to a smaller number of options that don't represent them, doesn't fix that.

Trump would be fucking awful. I don't know how it's such a hard concept for you to fathom that more than one person can be really shitty at the same time, including that they can be different degrees of shitty, including that despite the different degrees both can be way past the point of what's remotely acceptable. And that neither ones actions justify the other's actions in any way.

I won an iPhone from a work competition a while back. In the time between finding out I'd won "an iPhone" and actually seeing what model it was (iPhone 12 64GB, ie: lowest model from like 5 years ago) I was weighing up whether I use it or just flip it, though in all likelihood would've ended up selling even if it was a modern one.

The rubber tip ones are kinda shit tbh. They're basically just a finger you can aim slightly better.

Having proper stylus support is awesome (and I say this as someone who isn't all that great with art); my devices that support one are kinda weak but I just heard about an app called SuperDisplay that lets you use an Android tablet with such support as a graphics tablet for PC. Gonna look into that sometime.

I don't disagree the mods can be horrifically arbitrary and inconsistent here. But the flaming rule is one thing that they ARE pretty consistent on, and is fairly objective.

You did get pretty worked up in that topic, and from what I understand at least one of the moderations was for flaming. That's always been against the rules, and getting worked up can make one more prone to (somewhat mindlessly) falling foul of it.

Nope. I'm in my early 30s, had a good life thus far, but I haven't taken care of myself and I don't intend to either. The idea of living to >80 with decades of healthy eating and some form of routine simply doesn't work for me. Yep, I'll definitely agree with that one. The smart features will inevitably end up becoming obsolete long before it stops working as a display (at which point you'd need a PC or some kind of media box anyway if you want it to remain practical), may as well save money up front.
