Hershey's turned to a new milk preservation technique in the 1930s to extend the shelf life of its chocolate bars for up to a year. This was accomplished through the process of lipolysis, which involves adding special enzymes to the milk that breaks down fats and lipids, as well adding butyric acid. Herein lies the problem. Butyric acid is putrid. It can be found in sour butter and milk, and here's where it all comes together vomit (via Cheddar News). Americans have become accustomed to the taste. However, it is distinct and strong for Europeans who aren't used to it and thus, to them, a Hershey's bar tastes about as good as revisiting last night's dinner the next morning.

Hyena limbs are not as different in length as many people think, the massive neck and shoulder muscles make the front limbs look taller than they are in many photographs, but yes they are longer. The heavy musculature plus the longer forelimbs are all adaptation to make the animal stronger with more leverage, better able to rip apart a carcass and crush bones. They do not need the massive hind limbs of the large cats becasue they do not "pounce", you see the same adaptation in the so called "Fanged Cats" or saber tooth cats they have massive forelimbs. More importantly the massive muscles on the shoulder and neck make the forelimbs less flexible so to get the same arc swing out of the limb, it has to be longer.

Five tactical officers from the Harrison District had approached Reeds GMC Terrain with heavily tinted windows, which was apparently parked in a crosswalk in the 3800 block of West Ferdinand Street.
Body-worn camera footage released by COPA on Tuesday shows that Reed, 26, resisted orders to roll down his car windows and open the door. As officers shouted at him, Reed opened fire and struck one of the officers in the hand, COPA said.

On Sunday, Israel approved a plan to send taxes earmarked for Gaza to Norway instead of the Palestinian Authority (PA), which exercises limited self-rule in the Israeli-occupied West Bank.
Since November, taxes that would ordinarily be sent to Gaza have been frozen by the Israeli government.
Under the terms of a deal reached in the 1990s, Israel collects tax on behalf of the Palestinians and makes monthly transfers to the PA pending the approval of the Ministry of Finance.
While the PA was ousted from the Gaza Strip in 2007, many of its public sector employees in the enclave kept their jobs and continued to be paid with transferred tax revenues.
Weeks after the Hamas attack on southern Israel on October 7, Israel took the decision to withhold payments earmarked for those employees in the Gaza Strip on the grounds that they could fall into the hands of Hamas.
Now, Israel says it will instead send the frozen funds to Norway. The frozen funds will not be transferred to the Palestinian Authority, but will remain in the hands of a third country, the Israeli prime ministers office said in a statement released on Sunday.
