You could've actually read the topic though. Not only has it not always been the case in certain instances, you had the option to prove your actual age and overturn the ban. Now that option is gone and all the instances where claiming to be UAU as a joke were allowed now aren't.

See, in my experience, this isn't true. I don't think it's ever actually been allowed, because I'd say I've probably seen somebody get banned for it almost on an average of atleast once per year, the entire time I've been here. Like I said, I've seen people make such posts and get away with it, in certain situations, such as being on a smaller board where nobody would mark them, or being in a busier topic where it got overlooked.

Your experience doesn't stack up to Allen straight up saying the meme was now allowed though. I remember it clearly because I found it amusing that it was now allowed seeing as I got banned for it a little while before. Should be somewhere around 2011-2012 that the change happened as I got hit for it in 2010 IIRC.
And I'm talking about the specific "I am 12 and what is this" meme, not similar posts and such.

Yep. I've been coming to GameFAQs since leading up to release of Sonic Adventure 2, which brought me to GameFAQs to begin with, and I've always seen people get banned for such a thing, unless they proved otherwise, the entire time I've been here.

No, not exactly. "I am 12 and what is this" is what I got hit for and that was allowed about a year after I got banned for it. Now it's not allowed again.

This is not true, it's literally always been bannable. I've seen people get banned over it for over 20 years. If you made such a joke and didn't get banned, you were just lucky and nobody actually marked it.

Can confirm, did get a ban for this until I got it overturned by showing Allen my ID >_>

Having read all of Crossed because I'm a fucking weirdo I can say that The Sadness is a much better version of the same premise.
Like the "eye" scene people keep mentioning here is the craziest it gets and even that is implied rather than shown which is far more disturbing IMO. Crossed loves just going absolutely bonkers with its visuals, the vast majority you can't even describe here and they pretty much never serve a purpose to the overall plot other than shock value and to browbeat you with "we're all horrible inside".
I'll defend Preacher and even The Boys to hell and back, but I can't back up Ennis on Crossed. It's mean spirited all around.

And I agree with it myself. CE can be overly negative and if you find it impacts your well-being leaving is a good thing. Though I'd say there's a difference between just leaving and deciding you need to make spectacle of it.

TC, the ironic thing is, most of the guys here super obsessed with local politics, who make daily topics about Trump have extremely minimal societal interaction.

So, basically even though politics and social progress are important issues that go hand in hand, the people on here are not even necessarily that impacted with politics as a whole, because the most social interaction they have is going to the grocery store. Basically it just changes what subject they'll talk about or if they're playing offense or defense.

You know what you're getting into within the first 10-15 minutes.
They aren't the greatest movies in the genre or anything, but any fan of great gore effects should see them at least once IMO. And Art is probably the only slasher villain of note since Ghostface. In the slasher genre it's all about the kills and Art has some insanely brutal ones to his name.

Haven't seen the second one yet myself though.

Spider-Man Unlimited was quite decent tbh. If you get over the fact that it isn't a continuation of TAS despite being marketed as such it's actually a neat little show that didn't get enough time to truly shine IMO. There's quite a bit of setup for later episodes that they were never able to truly deliver on. And that costume is just awesome along with its entire concept for Green Goblin.

This show keeps knocking it out of the park with every episode.
Those final few scenes with Valerie Cooper describing what many feel when watching the news along with Bastion's apathy speech hit hard. It's crazy how an 5 hour long animated series is able to easily capture what Fox was trying to do for 2 decades.

This episode also has my favorite quote from the season with the Wolverine/Nightcrawler banter.

I know Tim Drake is Red Robin which is a red themed design where they removed the green (basically the best part)

That's only in TAS and in the comics about 15 years IRL after he became Robin. TAS Robin's look along with using a staff and computer skills were all lifted straight from Tim. And Jason's origin along with some of his attitude were transplanted onto TAS Tim.
He started wearing this as his first costume in '89. Jason's looked identical to Dick's old costume.

It's interesting how similar the design is to BTAS Robin. Just another thing Batman Returns influenced. Always loved that design, a perfect blend of the red, green, yellow and black. Still the best one to date.

That's literally just Robin (Tim Drake)'s costume in the comics at the time. Which everybody agreed to be a major upgrade to the OG speedos and pixie boots.
Batman Returns has jack to do with that being TAS Robin's design.

The premise is the Maker (Ultimate Reed Richards) has manipulated events in some other universe so that a lot of heroes' origins haven't come to pass along with dividing the world amongst IIIRC a dozen or so people aware of his existence.

In Spider-Man's case it means he's a civilian in his 30s, married with MJ and 2 kids. Uncle Ben is alive and best buds with JJJ.
And it's just been a great comic overall. Best out of the 3 Ultimate books we've had so far
