| The_Nintendo_Master 07/13/24 1:44:35 PM #136 | I was so disappointed when I got that set, it was advertised on having two buttons on the back that allowed you to pose the arms in like 8 different ways, and so I thought they were almost going to be like electronic buttons that you pressed and the arms moved into different positions but all they did was act as stops for the internal gear mechanism so you could raise the arms by different amounts and have them stay in place.
I don't have it built anymore though, but I should still have all the pieces and the instructions for it. DKBananaSlamma posted... Anyone have Space Police stuff? Britneys Dance Beat on PS2Was a fun game, only ever got to play the demo though. Would never want to play it with a dance pad. The 2 player competitive mode was a lot of fun. Golden Sun Dark Dawn I got to the "secret" boss and knew it required a ton of strategy and didn't have the right strategy so rather than die a ton of times I set the game down and never finished it. --- He who laughs last thinks slowest. |

| The_Nintendo_Master 06/23/24 2:03:44 AM #40 | The spiky shell wasn't nearly so bad in single player as it became in Double Dash, so for me it felt like the last real entry in the series that relied more on skill and less on getting good rng with the stupid party mechanics, which seemed to just increase exponentially as the series went on. I quit mid-7 and dropped the series for good.

I was under the impression that the problem isn't with steam compatibility, since steam has always worked fine on Linux with Linux games. The problem is with games compatibility. I.e., most new games not releasing with native Linux versions. Can you play a AAA DX12 game on Linux now?I switched to Linux a couple months ago when I built my new desktop, and so far I've run into issues with VR and getting Black Desert Online to run, but I'm running Arch Linux, which can be one of the harder distros to use, and others have gotten both of those things running, so it's probably partially a matter of how hard you're willing to fight to resolve issues. I do have an SSD in the case with Win10 loaded that I can boot into to do both of those things, but eventually I doubt I'll need it as VR is on Steam's side and they're aware of Linux users, and BDO's success seems very dependent on Proton support, so it's probably just a matter of time for it as well. The approach Disney at least used to have where you would reserve a spot on a ride at a specific time and could only do it a few times a day and got it along with your standard ticket was the best.

| The_Nintendo_Master 05/20/24 3:48:28 PM #67 | We used to go to Red Lobster every year for my birthday, though probably around 2019 or so was the last time we went, it was just a total disappointment, the food looked like it was just thrown on the plate, wasn't all that good, and it just wasn't what I remembered. Was tired of being disappointed so we stopped going and haven't been back since. Assuming the rest of the locations suffered from stuff like that and given the prices due to inflation causing people to stay away, it's not hard to see why they went bankrupt. I'd far rather go to the places that popped up recently that do the low-country boil style seafood they bring out to you in bags.

That aside, I really don't do much with it other than a couple of dailies. Nickelodeon ditched it or something and some folks from the original team are trying to revamp it I guess.
