Heard amazing things about both, with Name of the Wind's downside being fans have been waiting forever for a conclusion.

I'm less than 100 pages into Dark Tower book 1, and it's pretty slow/semi-incoherent. Considering reading NotW instead, but I don't like juggling books.

Does Dark Tower pick up?

Do any of you guys go to National Parks? TC isn't talking about remote wilderness. You aren't going to see Mountain Lions at Arches National Park or Las Vegas Red Rocks.

What is the best area to buy one? Someone told me directly from Steam for obvious reasons, but the deals I saw on there weren't any better than Amazon.

There's a popular YouTuber whose reviews are just that. Describing every step of the game while throwing in one analysis comment every five minutes.

That sounds like Josh Strife.

His aren't so bad because many of the games are super obscure, and if you haven't played them (many people today), then you miss out on a lot.

But his videos are not so much reviews as they are a trip down memory lane.

Idk about any of that but the whole Ian Malcom character is the author's self insert waving a big "I told you so!" finger at all of science. It makes the movie character insufferable.

TC's gf is supporting TC and his brother while he admits he isn't looking very hard for a job. I understand.

This. He's the Boba Fett of FF7. He's not a good fighter in the team, his story goes nowhere and has no pay off. His rivalry with Sephiroth doesn't matter, because it's already way stronger with Cloud.

He's purely aesthetics. He felt completely out of place following you around in Rebirth just to comment on things.

But TC is also right.

I didn't like that show.

The "I'm really rude, and verbally abusive, and not self aware at all, but it's OK because I'm right all the time" trope was a bad influence for lots of people in my generation, myself included that contaminated social skills.

I'm glad that type of protagonist is phasing out.

Is this something that you schedule at your doctor's office? I just use q tips, which is discouraged in every medical document you read, but what else do people buy them for?

I've heard that various methods of cleaning your ears are a scam, like the candle thing. Does your general care physician do this? Do you go to an ear doctor?

I keep my ears clean but a deep clean would be nice. So nasty when I use ear buds.

No interest in this. I don't care how many of the high artists on CE say it looks good.

It might be interesting if it didn't need to brand itself as a comic book movie even though it's its own thing, but it went the route that it went.

Sad to see no mention of Misery. It might not be his grandest epic, or include his most creative ideas, but it has one of his most terrifying antagonists.
