Someone explain to me Sonic X?
Is it just a Sonic anime that follows shonen tropes?
I mean having Kageyama do the OP makes you think shonen automatically.

The only Sonic cartoon I saw was Sonic Underground which felt oddly dystopian as a kid.
Maybe cos it didn't look quite as bright and vivid as other saturday morning cartoons.

I assume if Cowboy Bebop hadn't started off so hot winning it all within the first few contest, it'd be having more top 10 entries, the way Monster does.

Boichi's art is excellent, but how's his writing? I never did read Sun-Ken Rock
Meanwhile the author has had that rare double success in Jump with Eyeshield 21 and Dr. Stone, with Trillion Game also getting an adaptation. (live action though)
I recommend Trillion Game, it's the illustrator for Crying Freeman/Sanctuary
