Countries in Europe actually have a different problem. Clean energy is so cheap that big companies are having problems making money off of it. I guarantee you thats the reason why companies in the US dont want to switch. It would be TOO efficient

Looking for pushback? Interesting. I didnt think about it like that. I guess I did give non verbal pushback but it obviously wasnt optimal. I did try to people polite as possible even after the fact. I had an encounter at the Hospital with an old black man Ive known for years working here. (Yes, being black is relevant) He has to be at least in his mid 70s. Genuinely a very kind person based on my interactions over the years. I live in Georgia so religion is heavily engraved here like the rest of the south.

We usually only really talk about sports but today he brought up politics. He first brought up Trump receiving $20 million from Putin or something. I havent heard about this and havent looked it up yet. It wouldnt surprise me in the slightest. He clearly doesnt like Trump. What he said next really shocked me.

Women shouldnt be at the head of anything. Especially President. Even if they are black.

I didnt say anything because Im literally in the hallway of a hospital and I had work to do. I didnt have time to get into an argument but my facial expression said it all. He then started to talk about how the Bible said women should only support men and shouldnt be the heads of anything. This is a man with a wife, kids (including a daughter), nieces, granddaughters, etc. Even more shocking because he heavily supports black people. Many of us do, outside of black businesses for some reason but that is another topic, yet he was against Harris because of the Bible. After he kept looking at my face he quickly changed the subject but I was truly shocked that was his opinion.

I looked this up afterwards and saw it was a passage from Timothy. Looking deeper into Timothy itself people are arguing if Timothy even wrote this passage. (Apparently these are letters from Timothy or something) There are actual debates by historians on if this is forged or not.

So you made this opinion based on a verse from the Bible that might be forged from a person who was apparently taught under another person who heard about what Jesus and God desires second hand? It is so damn easy to forge shit back then or make up shit. Being able to control people with this was super easy and probably guaranteed to happen. Its scary how someone would go against everything based on one verse from the Bible. He pretty much told me he isnt voting for anyone simply because Harris is a woman.

Based on what Ive been seeing, it looks like the Democratic Party has been revived and enthusiasm is really high. However, that could be because it was recent news. That kind of news rocks not only the US, but probably parts of the world as well.

It looks like enthusiasm is up and Im glad to see it. However, Im not so sure bow long it will last. I dont know if this is just a flash in the pan or it can be sustained. I remember how much hatred Harris received several years ago and it concerns me that people might start to tip that way again. Times are different now so maybe not.

Im somewhat ignorant on these things. What do you think?

Men get called by their last name, but then you have Hilary (which could have been because her husband was previously Pres) and Kamala Harris (who's been called by her first name since forever. If you were to do 7,000 steps per day and climb 7 floors of steps per day, would that be enough to keep you at a healthy weight if you ate the usual 2000- 2500 calories per day?
