My statement stands. HBO didn't enter the original content game until 1997 with Oz. Having a handful of comedies over a 15 year span isn't disproving this, it's arguing semantics. HBO wasn't known for original content until Sopranos came out in 1999, that's when it stopped being TV, and started being HBO.
