Yeah, I've watched you tube vids breaking them down. Malenia is the most egregious (she just straight up breaks so many rules of how combat in ER works), but a lot of them are just fucking weird and hold their attacks. One of the earliest examples is how Margit raises his staff high and just... holds it there. For a really long time, before bringing it down on you. Out of universe, it's to catch reflexive rolling, but the problem is it just looks bizarre and unnatural, like why would ANYONE fight like that? The same vid did acknowledge that Godrick the Grafted was much better and his attacks come out where they feel like "they should" from his wind-ups. My theory about Margit is that he is basically Owl with a just enough of a different skill set that makes it all seem familiar but still daunting even when you think youve figured him out.
