So do the people with like 40+ just read really short books? I can't imagine getting that many reading stuff like LotR or IT

For me, some are really short, and more like novellas than novels But I get plenty of novels, as well. I know you dont like to go on pages, but for mine where the font sizes are basically the same, my average is probably somewhere between 250-300. But I have plenty over 400, and had a series with books around 100 Just as a way to compared the sizes of the books I read

And I have audio books I listen to, as well Finished (and started a boom today), but also listen to about 10%-20% of another book. I should finish that either tonight or tomorrow morning Probably

Yeah. I know. I hadnt been to that sub before, IIRC. So, I wasnt sure how they would react. But yeah. They didnt like that I could deal with the heat better. And something must be wrong with me because of it. And since the scientist in Antarctica are fine with the cold, I should be, too

I support a couple people. One is a group Ive listened to since like 2015 or so. But only joined their patreon some years ago Another is an artist that makes some NSFW pics. I like his art style, and the pictures are kind hot. So, I support him, as well

Havent kept track of all of them. But have for some. But not on goodreads. Maybe I should, though. I use a Kindle to read most. And Im usually on Kindle and Goodreads looking for/at stuff, anyway

This must be very recent. I remember not too long ago, creators could choose where to put ads. They could have them placed automatically, or choose where (if they wanted them)

This year flew by for me. Someone else mentioned that the reasons the year might feel faster for some is because each year is a smaller percentage of our life than the last year was. Making the years seems faster. Which kinda makes sense

I believe with AI voices, deep fakes etc... The internet will be a baron wasteland at some point. We just won't know what's real anymore....but maybe it'll bring us back to relying on first hand experiences...make us more human again?

It would just slow down the spread of information, which might not be that good. It would also slow down the learning process. Being able to access books and other things on the internet is actually useful, and doesnt make us less human. Slowing down the spread of information can be bad due to someone else being able to control the information before the public gets ahold of it First hand experiences are good and all, but not everyone will have the means to do it The internet itself is fine. AI sucks, though

Ive been to at least 2 Six Flags. Maybe more.
Kings Dominion.
Busch Gardens.
Disney World (Florida). And that had a bunch of different parks.

Because people use tripods to film sometimes. Lots of train people know the train schedule. So, many will go there around the time, and set up a tripod to record. While I dont necessarily get the excitement about trains, some people really like them. And like to film them.

That might be hard. Many places change the speed limit based on different things like weather, construction, etc And sometimes, even raise it. That said, it would be better than you car snitching in you

This is also true. This wont help to reduce speeding or save lives. Its just gets the cops more money. You just get a ticket days later telling you you were speeding and need to pay

Thats also a bad idea. Many people use their cellphones to Liston to music, podcast, books, etc while driving. Or have things like Bluetooth ear pieces. Or are a passenger. So, a cell phone disabler just causes problems

There's so many empty houses in this country it's ridiculous, that skittle be a problem unless you are overly picky

Or unless you dont live anywhere near the empty houses Or if the empty houses are owned by a landlord whos just awful so they have a hard time keeping tenants Or if a bunch of those empty houses are in HOA communities Or if those houses are out of your price range You dont need to be picky to have limited choices. So many other things contribute to it

Then don't move into a house. When you are shopping for a house you have a set of parameters that you are looking to fulfill. If whatever you are looking at doesn't fulfill those parameters, then you don't buy the house. It is up to your real estate agent to give you houses that meet your criteria. That is what they are getting payed to do. If I tell them "I want a new house in a neighborhood with no HOAs" then they better show me places with no HOAs.

Sure The problem is that if they arent available, they cant just magically make more houses to appear. And if you need a place to live, you may have to move into a place with an HOA Which would suck

Yeah WFH is awesome I love it. Offices are so horrible for productivity. All they really do is make you fake productivity more because someone is watching you more closely.

Probably depends on the office. I straight up have YouTube playing on my work computer, and my switch set up right next to it. And my Kindle next to that Haha.
