We really are approaching 1984 at a rapid pace.

I feel thats not going to get them many sells

If they can do that can't they just put a limiter or something based on the listed speed limit?

That might be hard. Many places change the speed limit based on different things like weather, construction, etc And sometimes, even raise it. That said, it would be better than you car snitching in you

We need detectors for when a person runs a red light. Automatically issue them a fine

I mean, many red lights already do that

Then they should not make their cars with the ability to go over 60 miles per hour

This would be fine if the max speed limit was 60. But many places have 70 or 80 mph zones. Like in the state I live it

if cops actually cared about reducing crashes, they'd be out there patrolling in person. sending someone a ticket in the mail days/weeks after they are caught by a speed trap doesn't increase safety

This is also true. This wont help to reduce speeding or save lives. Its just gets the cops more money. You just get a ticket days later telling you you were speeding and need to pay

I'm all for it actually. There are a lot of dumb motherfuckers who have no right being behind the wheel. I would also love to see an automatic cell phone disabler.

Thats also a bad idea. Many people use their cellphones to Liston to music, podcast, books, etc while driving. Or have things like Bluetooth ear pieces. Or are a passenger. So, a cell phone disabler just causes problems

The obvious solution is to perfect the tech for self driving cars. Take human error out of the equation.

This just leaves AI error. And hacking. That said, while this is a solution, I honestly wouldnt feel safe in a self driving car
