It's always been very racist, it just used to be done in a more jokey meme-laden way. however, as proven time and time and time again, when you do that people that arent in on the "joke" start getting drawn in and eventually the genuine racists will be all thats left. in the early and mid 2010s people were using it as a staging ground for weirdo right wing movements constantly and that really sealed the deal

calling silent hill 2 poorly written compared to anything bloober team has ever made tells you everything you need to know about that person

bloober team has been trying and failing to ape what made that game work in literally everything they have ever made. their sole game is essentially "silent hill 2 for people with head trauma"

bloober team makes very formulaic, derivative horror games that are absolutely terrible at what they are attempting to achieve. even when they are ostensibly trying to do something different they make the same thing where the "symbolism" has all of the subtlety of a sledgehammer and they just beat you in the brain with it until you pass out

if you made it slightly less stupid you're basically describing the dresden files

Almost all of the popular ones involve charismatic people either telling fun stories or doing improv comedy. The game mechanics almost always take a backseat in anything that isn't Critical Role

I'd argue that the show and games for The Witcher are far superior to the books. Mostly because the books are just not very good. Hell without the games the story started in the books would never have gotten finished.

The short stories are very good and the show did an ok job at best adapting them. The novels are not good, and the show did nothing to make them better. Either way it's a wash

Because the most popular adult animated shows since the 2000s have almost universally been very cheaply animated stuff. Things like South Park, Family Guy, Rick and Morty, Bojack Horseman etc. are what they are chasing for the demographic

having recently reread archie, one of penders' big recurring plotlines was a middle aged man creeping on and making out with the underage princess sally. He has tweeted that he wanted a plotline where said character took her virginity but was thankfully shot down. he also liked to slip in characters (including underage ones like Tails) having their feet tickled in panels that cannot be construed as anything but fetishy

I am sure there is more I dont know about because he seems like a slimeball but he definitely had some stuff going on in the comic he was ostensibly writing for children

no one, it's surprisingly the only game no one on the internet has ever downloaded or played

Its the same game as MGS story wise except for some dumb action movie stuff, and you'll be rehearing a ton of the same dialogue so if you play it immediately after MGS1 you'll be a little burnt out.

People love to exaggerate about how bad it is, but MGS2 gameplay is very fun so Twin Snakes is still pretty enjoyable. I would save it for after 2 because you'll be coming right off that game's gameplay and feel right at home, and it'll be long enough since MGS1 for the repeated story to feel a bit fresher

i feel like people who cant tell the difference between 30 and 60 dont play fast paced games. im not even a snob about it or anything, but you can absolutely tell when theres a lot of twitch gameplay that requires fast precise movement or aiming

i worked at a Verizon call center for a couple of years and it was by far the most brutal job I've ever done in my life. Being stuck at a chair for hours on end getting called a dumbfuck by the stupidest, most entitled people on the planet over problems largely of their own creation.

It definitely worsened my mental health immensely. It eventually got to the point where I was almost never happy, and I knew I had to quit or I was going to lose it.

Not in the example you gave. Fallout is a long-suffering example of that where the company who purchased it does not particularly care about the intentions of the original work and want to make it their own thing. The things people are complaining about might seem little or inconsequential, but people have been pointing out that kind of stuff since FO3 came out.

Now a more recent phenomenon is people using "lore" to refer to vaguely told stories where you have to do a bunch of digging to piece things together, and that is a little annoying. It caught on really big with zoomers when FNAF came out, and companies have been trying to capture that lightning in a bottle over and over again with stuff like Hello Neighbor, Bendy and the Ink Machine, Garten of Banban, etc. And what's more, it seems to work annoyingly well. Bad storytelling as a marketing strategy is really obnoxious but younger people seem to eat it up because putting the pieces together is "fun"

tbh all these threads are is you people saying the same shit to each other every day, everyone blocking each other so you eventually stop interacting and they die out would be preferrable
