Truthfully I can't be sure if it's worth it.

Fromsoft is near and dear to my heart, but Elden Rings world just didn't really do much for me on repeat playthroughs.

I'll have to wait and see first impressions.

What were the QOL improvements?

There's honestly too many to name off the top of my head.

1. Reworking Ryuji's instakill
2. Retooling, and frankly, fixing Mementos. Complete with different music for each floor and the entire system with the flowers and stamps.
3. The addition of Kichijoji providing some much needed merchants and party socializing.
4. Extra features added to the Velvet Room.
5. Several boss and Palace reworks that add depth, flavor, or both.
6. Changing a story based Social Link into a regular confidant based one, adding necessary complexity to a character that, in my opinion, left a lot to be desired.

And I'm sure there's more.

I implore you to have some empathy. Things can and will get much worse for minorities under a Trump presidency.

Yes, but the liberal government killing them anyway. It makes zero difference, so no reason for me to care. The most moral thing I can personally do is just save up a bunch of money, and keep the people around me safe how I can. The family not being targeted now, won't be targeted under Trump atleast.

But don't you see the damage that's already been caused by the GOP? You're much safer with a liberal candidate over a conservative one. These people seem to reduce your right to vote. A wife's right to be a person. A gay person's very right to exist.

What has hurt you so you feel this way?

Don't let me sway you, but it absolutely incredible. Well deserving of its praise.

I only really play one to three new games per year. The only games I routinely play that came out in the last year are Lies of P and Baldur's Gate 3.

Otherwise it's usually old Fromsoftware games.

Now this may be the pessimist in me, but I think someone taking this kind of stance after being wronged by one employee one time on one day probably isn't the bastion of kindness or reasonability they claim to be.

Royal is the better experience wholesale, but Sumi left a lot to be desired. Neither of the extra companions really felt earned in either of the deluxe games, Golden or Royal.

Sumi never felt like a proper thief, more like Joker's pet.

They did it a lot better with Sophia

Maruki was very much just the opposite of Yaldabaoth characteristically, but his end goal was exactly the same. The "liberation" of free will.

The only difference is one did it out of felt necessity, meanwhile the other one was misguided goodness.
