Batman needs someone to catch though. He likely more addicted to bringing crime doers to justice and not the actual justice itself. If he killed off his main villains he would run out of that dopamine boost or whatever he gets when he catches them again.

There would likely be petty criminals but they would not require as much effort or guile to catch and it may get boring be the the dark knight if you are only catching/killing peasants with potato schemes. Batman is not exactly angelic psychologically anyway so it kind of makes sense he may be sub consciously addicted to the chase and not the catch.

Yes water is a liquid; however, if water is frozen it is no longer a liquid but a solid and becomes ice...

Therefore, water is a liquid, and ice is a solid.
I know I rushed the post admittedly and obviously and meant to say would become the liquid, my bad. My point was it wont be a solid forever as the only reason people would use it is to cool themselves in an environment they consider too hot which of course will react to the ice and melt it thus making it the liquid version that is water.

If you were to use this method to try and cool yourself you would probably stop pretty soon when your house gets waterlogged or something not to mention the possible damage it could cause if you make too much.

If the ice you make does not melt for whatever reason then of course it will remain a solid and this melting issue will not be a problem. There are obvious issues with the fire one too that said. This would not be the best thing for humans to be able to do on a whim most likely.

Ice is solid fire is plasma
Ice is frozen water. Melt it and it is a liquid. Regardless if you make it solid it at the beginning it will return to a liquid should the temperature around it be high enough to cause that. In other words you would have to freeze everything around you to keep it as ice or be in a cold enough environment to begin with.

Unless the ice you are making is magical and does not melt like normal ice you would have to assume you are potentially adding more water to the earths atmosphere and that likely could spell disaster sooner rather than later if people keep it up long enough and judging by the poll that seems likely.

The question abit too ambiguous I guess is what i'm trying to say. :)

The records exist believe it or not. The rule is there to prevent what was said happening and will never revert. It's not conjecture.

Anyone that watches football and understands it knows that the offside rule is very much needed even if it can be a bit of a tempo killer at times.

There is absolutely no way for you to prove that since the rule was made before video cameras existed.
There are records of why it was implemented. There is even a documentary explaining why the rule was invented. Cameras mean nothing the games were literal bull crap to watch until they stopped the goal hogging stuff.

The rule does not exist to make the game more boring it quite the opposite really. If someone just moved their queen and took your king on the first move from standard starting positions and said checkmate it would be a sad game of chess all round for all.

I dislike basketball as much as americans seem to hate football here......... but there is nothing more boring to watch than Golf sports wise and it is in the poll. XD

It would only do that if you compare scores before offsides was a rule and scores after offside became a rules and only if the scores were the same as they are now.
The rule is there to prevent what you are saying. It's like passing a law to stop something happening.

It was not thrilling to watch strikers literally standing on the opposing goalies line waiting for the ball to come close after all.

The games was just hoofing the ball from one side to the other basically. the rule was made to prevent goal hogging and lack of skill to that effect as even a grand mother could probably score some goals doing that.

I mean if they wanted more scoring they could also just eliminate the off-sides rules. It would likely destroy any integrity scoring a goal ever had, but they could try it and see what happens.

The only reason you see less goals in a game like that is because that rule is upheld and it's very strict. There is no way they ever shrink the field though, it's an endurance sport and the large field is part of it. Shit the distance traveled by a typical midfielder in soccer makes the distance traveled by a basketball player look like a joke.
There used to be no off side rule. I think that puts to bed your idea.

Tom Bombadil predates the Lord of the Rings by quite a bit. The Adventures of Tom Bombadil was published in 1934, 20 years before The Lord of the Rings.

It does have some importance to the story, most notably, demonstrating that there are some for whom the Ring holds no power, and their misadventure with the barrow-wight is where the Hobbits obtain the weapons that they wield at least until they reach Rivendell. While the segment can be removed, as Peter Jackson did, it makes the way they get their swords to be rather awkward (Aragorn was carrying around four Hobbit-sized swords, even though he was only expecting Frodo and Sam?)
Nah, he clearly snapped 2 normal swords in half...

I stayed out of it for quite a long time in my first Skyrim playthrough because I recognized the Imperials as being elitist colonizers with direct ties to the Thalmor and the Stormcloaks as being racist reactionaries that lacked a cohesive direction (while also ironically having direct ties to the Thalmor as well).

However, I was walking near Whiterun at one point and a group of Imperial soldiers escorting a prisoner encountered me and started a dialogue which lead to them attacking me. I managed to free the prisoner who then encouraged me to join the Stormcloaks, which I immediately went and did.

I have to give credit to Skyrim for having such an immersive world like that. Playing Skyrim really felt like I was part of world that unfolded directly due to every action I made.
And yet that same stormcloak will rat you out if you kill the imperials before making them hostile and you leave the stormcloak prisoner alive.

You have to side with Hermaeus to complete Dragonborn. All DLC is considered canon unlike the faction questlines. The DLC itself shows you how Hermaeus already trapped a Dragonborn in his realm.

Each time a Black Book is used the ability to leave Apocrypha becomes harder. The fact one book allows you to reset skills unlimitedly mean you have to keep using the book to do that. Your literally his new toy and that is how Beth will remove the Last Dragonborn so you can play a sword singing Hoon-Ding avatar in ES6 probably. XD
