It's very difficult for me to get rid of any starter in any video game. I always use them all the way through. This past time I chose Palmon because she's an OG and after reading through a few Reddit posts it seems like most people glance over Palmon for whatever reason but she has an excellent mega evolution with Rosemon. I did eventually de digivolve him and spent more time going through the Impmon => Beelzemon line though.

FE, AC, and Nep are good enough to not need co-op to make them worthwhile, though FE and AC would be improved with the addition.

And the M&L games are good enough to not need co-op either. At least the first few games. The issues with the later games are a general quality thing that co-op wouldn't have helped. Why wouldn't Neptunia be improved with co-op?

That's interesting. I've never seen you talking about having siblings. Do you still play with him? I've played the NSMB games and even Galaxy and Odyssey co-op with my cousin before so I know how fun that can be but these are single player RPGs. Mario and Luigi are just party members. The 2nd, 3rd, and 5th games have more playable characters as well. Are say... games like Fire Emblem, Armored Core, and Neptunia not worth playing without co-op?

That's what I was thinking. TC talks about himself like he has nobody else to play with yet he's suggesting this single player turn based RPG franchise be co-op because...? It's thematically fitting? Even though it's not really any more thematically fitting than the previous M&Ls or any other RPGs with multiple party members. And he accuses others of being contrarian.

I put in a good 60 hours into Cyber Sleuth this past winter. Just felt like playing after finding my complete edition while looking for another game. I didn't even finish the game either because FF7Rebirth came out and I haven't gone back to Digimon yet. It's a great game if you don't mind the endearing dialogue. Grinding for experience is pretty fun too because your side party Digimon also gain experience through battles so you're able to digivolve your Digimon fairly quickly if they have the right stats.

If you like Pokemon or Final Fantasy or other battling/collecting games, you'll enjoy Cyber Sleuth.

Did you keep your starter for cyber sleuth?

Yeah, Bidoof is cool and even useful ingame. They're the representatives for HMs in BDSP. Patrat and Yungoos are tied for being worthless ingame and also ugly in all their forms.

The only actual undeserving characters are the early Nintendo filler ones. Pikachu and Jigglypuff deserve a spot because they are classic Smash characters and pokemon reps but why Lucario and Pichu? Mewtwo I guess can get a pass I guess. Why do we need multiple of the same character? There are many of these. Get rid of all the filler characters and there are tons of spots for characters of any relevance.

Jigglypuff is literally one of those fillers. Puff is nearly completely irrelevant to Pokemon these days, only having a Paradox form in SV and sitting Gen 7 and initially 8 out and is also one of the worst Pokemon competitively with its Paradox form still being one of the worst paradoxes. Lucario at least is available in every gen since its debut and got a powerful Mega that Ash used to become champion. Lucario is much more relevant than Jigglypuff in modern times. So is Incineroar and Greninja, really.

I don't trust channels like this anymore. For all I know he carried those kittens there in his hood before throwing them into the rain and that's how the kitten knew exactly were to go. Youtube has a fake animal rescue channel problem and it's pretty fucking sickening when you look into it.

I posted this in another topic in the past.
The thing about this is that while some of this is certainly true, most of this is STILL decided by guys. For example, stereotypical things like big dicks and shredded physiques, while obviously still valued by women, are actually valued more by MEN than women. You'll see more calling other people's dicks tiny or boasting about their own big dicks and calling themselves chads from guys than gals.

On the other hand, things like being romantic, being affectionate, being good with kids, that women also value a lot, are something men are much more likely to scoff or squirm at. A good example with teenagers: boy band pretty boys are obviously EXTREMELY popular among teenage girls, but they're far less popular among teenage boys, with far less boys wanting to emulate them. In fact, these kinds of dudes are considered cringe and "gay" by teenage boys.

ftr I do see this changing more and more in modern days though.

Yeah I think it's this. Gaming is just much more mainstream these days and they're taking into account casual mobile gamers. Fire Emblem, which they mentioned in the article, as well as turn based games in general have made a big comeback in sales and recognition since 2015 whereas the PS3-360-Wii era was when turn based games were at their lowest and shooters were at its peak.

If the poster who said DToast was incompetent got a nwod, then wouldn't the assumption be that these "insults" are low priority? It will take a while for the mods to get to them, and that's if they're even marked in the first place.

It should've been no-actioned since it's not an insult. It's a valid criticism. It's something an employer can remark upon an employee. That's like saying lazy or unvigilant are insults.

1. At least 3 users got modded for using/quoting the word 'incompetent' to describe DToast. Dakimakura (confirmed #49), @KainWind (unconfirmed but they quoted the offending post), and me.
2. In this topic alone, at least 5 users have repeated the same 'insult'. GrandConjuraton, Strider102, TMOG, red13n, and I.
If the word [incompetent] does count as an insult, then those 5 in point (2) should be modded. Unless those 5 get modded, the first modding spree in point (1) doesn't have a leg to stand on and should be cleared regardless of its severity. We have permaban rule, inconsistent modding is unacceptable.

He's treating this as if none of this gamefaqs stuff matters (even though he has 400 amp, probably compensating) so none of this matters to him. He's claiming the fact that you care at all is silly.

On topic I doubt DToast modded you himself. It's probably a trigger happy new mod trying to appear active. They just got new mods so a lot of inconsistency is happening right now. I've been seeing quite a few clear offensive posts get no actioned. It's just ironic timing since all these big changes were supposed to be making the moderation more consistent. Although DToast personally allowing in troll alts is on him.

This is Three Hopes so you don't need to do any of that for characters. Three Houses encourages the social sim more but you absolutely aren't intended to recruit everyone on the first playthrough lol.
