The game blew up in popularity when they added Myers (the first licensed killer). The most popular chapters have always been licensed ones.

If it never got a single licensed, the game would remain a very niche game that a small group of players enjoy assuming the devs felt it worthwhile to still support this long with a low playerbase.

I don't really think this is the biggest player here. The used car market got so expensive that new cars were cheaper (not sure if still case) and due to chip shortages it's harder to get new cars.

I do. And no, the basic high deductible plans for all 6 of my jobs Ive had over the past decade-ish were free. The more premium plans were at higher cost though.

You are aware that high deductible plans just means you have to pay out of pocket. Any serious healthcare emergency and that $6K/month extra money you calculated is gone.

One of the jobs I worked at offered a very basic min healthcare plan for free. It wasn't a great plan since it had a high deductible, but I was in my early 20s so it was a solid choice when I didn't need to worry too much about healthcare visits.

Part time employees are not legally guaranteed benefits like healthcare from their employer and thus need to pay for them separately.

the funny thing about gamespot is, at least to me, I haven't been in one in ages, but I remember they are kind of just a funk pop business with a little video games on the side now. Like, people were shorting gamestop because it didn't appear to have much value. People caught wind of this and people bought a bunch of gamestop stock, inflating the value. But who actually cares about gamestop? I only ask because whatever the trading price of gme stock is, it's more divorced from the reality of the business itself than most stocks.

The federal government has always held the ability to hold funds if states don't follow certain requirements. For example, states that create highway projects and set speed limits over 55mph will lose funding for highways.

If Texas wants to ignore the federal government except when it's convenient for them, then they shouldn't get anything. Otherwise, we'll just be rewarding ignoring the federal government.

Removing the ability to crouch to fight against teabagging won't solve anything. In DBD, killers who want to bm can walk back and forth over a survivor in dying state to simulate "humping". We can't just remove players ability to control their characters movement to stop any form of BM that could be interrupted as SA.

I get where you are coming from, but many games have crouching as a mechanic. There are reasons a player may need to make their hitbox smaller or hide their model from LoS. Removing valid mechanics, because of the possibility of abuse will just result in worse games.

People are so quick to throw out the term "censorship" for anything that gets changed that they personally don't like.

It's a bit more complicated then that. Squatter laws exist so that land not being used doesn't just sit around unused. Someone who owned land stops using it and it never gets sold for someone else to use or ownership document has been lost to time.

Youtube does have least some level of sensitive content age walling, though it's not applied to that many things. it's a prompt that says it contains suggestive content or whatever and asks if you're okay viewing it, and also requires you to be logged into an account to see it

With how much you are avoiding saying what the gift is, I can't help but think the gift was too much for someone you were barely dating.

A big problem with job listings is that many job offerings list the person who left credentials and not ones actually needed for the job. If you don't have a degree, you should be fine if you can show you have experience elsewhere with what is required for the job.

The only issue you might encounter is being filtered by an ai or job postings never intended to be filled.

Any D&D campaign could technically be ran in a different system. The main difference systems provides are often flavor (d&d tends to be medieval theme) and mechanics (5e favors combat over rp).

If you aren't sure how to start a campaign, look at pre-built modules for the system you want to use.

Then there is Pathfinder 2 which is more akin to 4th edition (or so I've heard... I've never played it) which is more pulpy than 5th.

I don't believe PF2 is based on D&D 4e. 4e was never released in srd for others to use.

Pathfinder was built off of D&D 3.5 ruleset. It's a more complex system compared to D&D 5e which is what BG3 was built off of.

Theres no reason for it to not. If you dont want to watch it, then dont. I get suggestions that dont fit my tastes all the time. I click not interested and I dont see that content anymore. If youre seeing it after telling it you dont want to, its because youve invested a lot of time watching it, which is very telling.
