Im fine with the pardon, but Biden did it in the most politically inept way possible. It should have been part of a larger package of pardons or dropped on the last day so it wouldnt have been as big of a story.

From what I can see, people mainly seem to be dooming about Virginia. But it still just looks to me like a state where all the red vote was counted first.

DD has always had a very high acceptable error level for calls. I assume most places call at 95% certainty, maybe DD accepts something like 90% certainty.

It blows my mind that they're calling these states that have reported less than 10 percent from their population centers, but in 2020 it took them days to call states for Biden when it was clear that Trump's leads were not going to hold

I know we are dealing with the red mirage right now. That less populated and safe states are already called and that things will change and get closer later but man is this hard on my nerves.

This is the main reason I'm so weirded out by Ohio and why nobody is talking about it.

Most of their red mirage has already been counted and Harris is still competitive with tons of blue areas left. I wonder if it's actually possible she could win this.

The more I keep looking at Ohio, the more the Harris numbers look very strong.

Half of the vote is in and the most of the remaining vote seems to be in blue areas.

Why is she running so strong here?

I was here. Endgame was repeatedly telling everyone exactly what was happening and people were still dooming all over the place.

Then Trump came out at midnight or so and declared victory with 20% of the vote counted.

2020 was a million times worse than this.

Like PA was showing Trump ahead by 600,000.

Watching NBC stream in Japan and they keep saying Trump is overperforming margins in a lot of counties. These are states that don't matter for the most part, but that might be driving betters to assume it will be true across the board.

Their problem is likely looking at Florida and thinking it will apply everywhere

In that post I'm just talking in general about rural areas across the U.S.

Florida is a weirdo state and their results won't mean much anywhere else.

The energy isn't there anymore in the rurals. He's still going to win of course but I won't be surprised by a drop across the board.

I fortunately don't live there, but I go to these neck of the woods to visit family and it's so different from 4 years ago. There used to be a Trump sign at every third house. Now I can barely find his signs. This story has been missed by mainstream news who would never go to these places.

People act like the yard signs thing doesn't matter, and for traditional politicians that wisdom may have been true but Trump is not traditional. The pathetic rallies and lack of signs were my clue weeks ago about how tonight was going to turn out.

If anybody plans on dooming about Florida results in about an hour or so, do me a favor and delete your account instead.

It also speeds up the vote count and gives Trump less time to pull any bullshit.

Obviously vote by mail is better than not voting at all, but it makes perfect sense why so people waited beyond just preference.

I get it but it's a flawed way of thinking about the industry. These people consider themselves scientists, but they aren't acting like scientists. Imagine if a weather forecaster said snow was likely, then it rained. Maybe it even happens twice in a row.
