I don't get people complaining about tutorials. I can understand if they make things more confusing, I'm mainly talking about people saying there's too many or come up too often. What's wrong with teaching me the game?

Even worse when in the second half of the game you get a new mechanic, and a single screen will come up to say press these buttons to activate the ability, and people will say "I'm STILL in the tutorial?!" no, your not. To me the tutorial is the impossible to lose section that walks you through everything, and once you understand everything your free. A splash screen existing later on does not make everything before that still a tutorial.

Yup, bagels, toast, and sandwich bread should be very slightly brown. If there's any black or dark brown, it's burnt and you might as well throw it away.

He said in the video that apparently US immigration gets sued all the time, but there's something in the law saying that even if he wins, the government doesn't have to pay anything (they just let his team members in the country with no compensation). So immigration usually just settles their lawsuits and doesn't go to court.

That's what we had and then switched to 4/10s a couple years ago. I like the 4/10s more. I work 6 am - 4:30 pm on weekdays, which is rough, but have every Monday off. Half of us have every Friday off to make sure someone is here at all times. So for me, Friday is a very chill and relaxed day since no one is here. I don't think I can go back to 2 day weekends.

Same, I was getting the full page ad for every click for around 30 minutes, but now it's gone. I use Brave mobile with no extra ad blocks.

But this same popup happened a few months ago on gamefaqs, so this wasn't new. Full screen ad for a few minutes, then got rid of itself automatically.

Who was the target demographic for this device? Gaming is generally a low-medium income persons hobby I believe.

Buisnesses. I'm in the aerospace industry and my job is in AR/VR. I'm on a buisness trip right now, sitting at a vendors table with my Hololens 2 right here (we're done and talking about lunch now). I brought my Hololens so we can see a model of our aircraft interacting with the thing we're buying to make sure everything fits, and the vendor can make markings on their floor so they have a better scale of our aircraft.

The Hololens 2 is similar to Apple where Microsoft originally marketed it towards consumers and video games, but it's also $3500 so no one bought it. Now Apple priced theirs at the same price and seeing similar results. I don't have an Apple Pro yet, but other AR groups have it and say it's the best AR/VR device on the market. I don't know why Apple tried to make it for consumers, that would never work at that price.

I just came back from a 2.5 week solo trip to Japan.

It was one of the easiest and stress free trips in my life. Use Google maps and pin the stuff you want to see. I then made an excel spreadsheet and just wrote down which city I wanted to go each day, dictated by the clusters on Google maps. And since your going solo, you can swap locations around the night before in your hotel. Like if it rains, swap in a location with indoor activities.

However you do it, I would just not reccomend that you plan your days down to the hour, you'll never be able to relax and your guaranteed to miss/rush stuff.

I just came back from a 2.5 week solo trip to Japan. I'm from America and have used public transit maybe 3 times in my life, I wrote down (but did not study) 5 Japanese words, and I put Google translate on the front page of my phone's home screen.

I never got on a wrong train, I used 1 of my 5 words and that one was optional, I never used Google translate for conversation, and only used the camera translate on things I was curious about, but it was not nessisary.

Japan is extremely easy to navigate and function in without knowing the language. As long as your in the cities and not in a middle of no where town, all signs have English subtitles, all machines have English, and Google maps tells you everything you need. For food you can get very far with pointing. At a resturant (sit down or fast food, as they always have menus on the table at the register), just point at what you want.

HDMI/display doesn't matter as long as your monitor and video card support the connections. If you have 3 display ports and 1 HDMI on your video card, you can mix and match monitor connections to get them all in. At work I have a 4 monitor setup, one of the connections being a monitor using DVI and a DVI to display port adapter.

SocialistGamer posted...
I have multiple display and hdmi so I can keep my main as is, just hook up the second via an hdmi and then setup in the settings? Also if i needed help looking up something on game while playing on the main monitor, could I do something different on the second one?

Computers will automatically detect that you have more than 1 monitor. The only settings you have to change are the order of the monitors and maybe the height, so that when you move your mouse from the left screen to right screen, it doesn't jump around.

And yes, I do that all the time. I'm playing the game on my main monitor and have some kind of info on the other monitor. Most of the time I'm watching a youtube video while I have the game on mute, if it's a repetitive type of game like a rougelite.

Even though I dislike Disney, I have to admit their production is incredible. I mainly went for the set design because the rides were meh.

I'm currently ending my last day of a 2.5 week vacation, and I can confirm that everything has been incredibly cheap, especially food and travel. On my first day I got a chicken katsu lunch for 900 yen, or like $6 usd. Even my friend asked me to get perfume, and in America a 50 ml bottle cost $138, and the same thing but a 100 ml bottle cost $131 in Japan.

The plane ticket here was incredibly expensive though, but once here, it's been smooth sailing.

So where do I buy ingredients for my stove that are calibrated for whatever the temperature range on my stove is?

The "temperature range" on all stovetops are very similar, but not enough where you'll burn the house down if your a little off.

I have a gas stove with a dial from 0-10. I know that low is around the 0-3 range, medium is 4-6, and medium high is 6-8, high 9-10. Yours will be similar, and if you do a 7 instead of a 6 nothing will change. Cook one thing with those numbers and you'll know if you have to go 1 (at the very most 2) numbers away from that guideline no matter what type of stove you have. Most cooking is not so precise where if your a little off your food will be burnt/raw.

Also I don't understand your complaint with spatulas. You know that most spatulas handles are offset so the spatula can lay perfectly flat in the pan and the handle will be in the air, right?

Maybe I'm the weird one who likes traveling, likes flying, and likes planning the trip.

I'm planning a solo Japan trip next month. All I did was buy the plane ticket, got the hotels, and now I'm just planning a general outline of things I want to do while there. It's fun looking up all the stuff in the area and pinning them on Google maps. Everyday I find something new to see, but I'm being careful not to over plan and am willing to scrap some stuff if needed.

Going solo is easier since I don't have to worry about anyone else. I can go where ever I want to go whenever I want to go. Fortunately I also have no concern about money, I can see it getting bad for people who have to work in a budget though, that can be stressful.

I do it all the time on PC or Switch games. Rougelites like Slay the Spire, Dead Cells, and Binding of Issac, who cares about the sound? Put it on mute and watch a movie or long YouTube video on the second screen. Or games like Borderlands 2 where I played through the campaign at least 15 times to grind characters, so I would put that on mute since I knew everything that was happening.

Basically any repetitive games (or sections of games) or games where sound doesn't matter at all, I'll put it on mute and watch something else on another screen.
