In Elder Scrolls and FO, I definitely appreciated well written questlines, but I also really enjoyed just wandering off in a direction and running into something at least interesting, if not always "worthwhile" at the end of it. Do you get many opportunities to just wander off and run into some interesting shit going down that isn't immediately connected to a questline?

With Fallout 3/4 and Skyrim I would start a quest at point A, make my way to point B to do the quest but get distracted for a couple hours on the way by all kinds of things. The problem i mainly had with Starfield was that there wasn't anything in between to get distracted by. The journey from point A to B was boring.

I remember civ 2 had a cheat menu.

Since i'm allergic to perfume it depends. If it is some one who knows me i would be mad because they would know. If it is some one who doesn't know i'm allergic I would let them know and laugh it off.

I was initially excited about it, but when they said over 1000 planets, I had big "quantity over quality" concerns

When I played Skyrim and Fallout 4 I enjoyed exploring and finding stuff. In those games point A sends you to do a quest at point B. On the way to point B you find other stuff that keeps you distracted.

In Starfield, point A sends you to do a quest at point B. On the way to point B you find nothing but copy pasted caves and outposts that are mostly the same with nothing to do.

The outpost system in Starfield is a massive downgrade from the settlement system in Fallout 4.
