I kind of fucked up. In the cinematic universe the reason for the space race was to get to the ship that crashed on the moon, but originally the Transformers were first "found" before 1900 by Sam Witwicky's grandpa. Like that was literally the opening scene of the first movie. But yet now the Transformers have been aiding humans for centuries?

And at the end of DotM only part of Cybertron came through the bridge. When the bridge was closed I'm assuming it destroyed Cybertorn which would explain its appearance in this movie...

So many different things happening at once, yeah. Like Sector 7 from the first film was formed as a result of the discovery of Megatron and the Allspark, but then the American presidents knew of the Ark on the moon and kept it from them. Then we have secret societies and such with Transformers aiding humans in the past. What a mess.

DotM vaguely used a couple of storylines from the original cartoon. Cybertron coming through the space bridge comes from the 3 part The Ultimate Doom, and the Autobots being exiled and Patrick Dempsey's character mimics the 2 part Megatron's Master Plan. In The Ultimate Doom Cybertron comes all the way through and is eventually launched out of Earth's orbit. Not entirely sure where it wound up but it was much closer than it was before as a result. I assumed something similar happened in the movie.

Also I don't understand how Cybertron shrunk in size so much (I swear it was way bigger than Earth in DotM) and how Transformers and humans have evidently been in contact forever despite that whole thing about finding them on the moon in 1969...

So many plot holes to fill. I feel sorry for the director of the Bumblebee film.

Did all of Cybertron come through the space bridge in DotM? I couldn't tell if it was sucked back in when the spire was destroyed or what came through remained.

and now this happened

https://petapixel.com/2017/07/01/photobucket-just-broke-billions-photos-embedded-web/

Since 2003, the popular photo hosting service Photobucket has been letting users upload and host images for free on their servers. They have over 10 billion images stored by 100 million registered users. But now they’re going to start charging, and that means billions of images around the Web are now broken.

Hotlinking (AKA inline linking) is when someone takes an image file hosted on a server and embeds it on a different webpage elsewhere. Since the new webpage continuously requests the file from the original source server, it saps the server owner’s bandwidth (and storage space).

Photobucket allowed hotlinking photos uploaded to and stored on its servers for a long time. This was their business model, and they made money from ads on their own site, which users would be exposed to when they went to upload content.

Unfortunately for Photobucket users, things are about to change in a big way as of June 26th. Now the service is rolling out a $399 per year subscription fee for those who want to hotlink images from Photobucket’s servers to display elsewhere. That means that billions of images across the Web now display an error message instead of the image in question.

It’s not a huge surprise to see a decision like this. Advertising revenues are declining for publishers, and the costs of servers to host 10 billion images are surely incredibly high (especially when requests are made for them from all over the Web). While other free services remain, it seems fairly likely that others will follow suit and start charging for hosting files too.

Kind of both? It is a fun game, but the one thing you need to note is how Mario titles were handled starting with 64. It was the first "collect-a-thon" Mario game. Sunshine, and Galaxy are much the same way but are also great games in their own right. The "New" and "3D" games follow the classic formula of get to the flagpole, but also introduce the 3 star coins per stage concept.

Okay in Space then. Very good series and a fitting end to the Zordon era. You'll enjoy it.

and yeah I suppose they found their error in casting and removed Justin, but he would have likely been left out anyway considering the series plot.

A little trivia considering the sentai. Tommy's White Ranger counterpart, and Jason's Gold Ranger in the sentai were children. It seemed to work out better in Japan than in the US though.

Started using Chrome a few months ago. Before that strictly Firefox for years. For some reason one day it just became unbearably slow and still is. Maybe it has to do with my OS or hardware.

Chrome is great but there are still some things I try to figure out. A lack of typical top of the page menu bar for one. I'm getting used to the drop down menu though.

I see Edit, Cut, Copy, Paste, but no Undo? Seems annoying. No prompt if I accidentally hit the close button in the top right. The whole browser shuts down.

and why is Facebook so slow on Chrome? When you start the page it seems normal at first but let it sit and it moves at a snail's crawl until you refresh.

Along with the above we had a Purple Ranger in Dino Charge, and although a dream the character Boom from SPD imagined himself as an Orange Ranger.

The current sentai Kyuranger has an orange.

If this becomes the next Power Rangers after Ninja Steel then he would be our first Orange American ranger.
