Favorite episodes: 2x02 (flashback ft. '50s Angel), 2x06 (Wesley pretends to be Angel), 2x07 (Darla's flashbacks) 2x09 (Angel undergoes trials, but Darla gets vamped by Drusilla), 2x10 (Darla and Drusilla devour Holland; Angel fires his staff), 2x15-16 (Holland's 'Home Office'/Angel hooks up with Darla and saves Kate), 2x17 (Cordy/Harmony), 2x21 (middle episode in Pylea).

...Needs more Dead End.

* Angel & Spike's rivalry is amazing, but Angel & Lindsey have a combative chemistry that is the closest thing to it across both shows (and really helps a lot later with Season 5). Their best episode is when they're working on the same case with and against each other.
* This episode coming immediately after Angel gets rid of Darla and the throwdown by Lindsey and his pickup truck.
* Lindsay singing is the best Caritas scene, though Mandy comes close.
* Evil Hand!
* Great sendoff for a great character, and great shift to Lilah going forward.
* Kill Kill Kill twist, and the body part harvesting
* Some really twisted visions for Cordy
* Did I mention Evil Hand? CHARLIE!

This. When he came back for the horrible Reigns Rumble to the awesome Rollins Mania, he was still going out there and doing damn headbutts and flying headbutts every match. His Intercontinental win was great, but it wasn't fun watching him and Ziggler trading headbutts on top of a ladder. I never even noticed they were part of his repertoire until after his injury. I remember kicks, knees, grapples, suicide dives, anger management, and awesome submissions.

If he just removed headbutts, I'd be a lot happier to see him perform, but I honestly don't expect him to tone it down and switch or alter styles. He easily can and he should, but I don't think he would and that's scary.

In some respects, I feel bad for Jenna.

She was done no favors in her edit whatsoever. She was a villain post merge until the final two episodes, and the creative storyline was all Matt and Rob (and Deena and Alex). Not saying she was a good winner, but there was a lot of weird mood whiplash and unsatisfying payoff of storylines.

Snark aside, this actually looks decent. Not amazing or garbage, just...kinda there. Which is probably a step up for DC live action stuff.

Same thoughts. Probably the best non-Nolan DC trailer in forever, but I'm not sold at all that it will actually be a good movie yet. At least there were no over-the-top religious metaphors!

but yeah I would be happier if it was good than if it was bad. so that's nice to know at least one person enjoyed it.

I almost didn't go, but I felt like I needed to see it before I started bashing it (like BvS), but I've got nothing bad to say about it.

I'm also not saying it's completely amazing and that it's the greatest thing ever. Go in with no expectations and just let it ride. I feel like that's my best advice for most movies these days.

It was surprisingly a lot more fun than I went into it expecting. The humor and characters were well-balanced, the action scenes were good, and though they were a few Easter Eggs throughout, none were forced or out-of-place. Everything to do with Rangers, Zords, Goldar, Rita, Zordon, etc. looked really good on screen. Production stills and photos (and especially toys) looked horrible, but in the film itself they work very well.

I definitely recommend it even if we end up having a difference of opinion.

Also, as a Gokaiger fan, this movie feels more like that Sentai than Megaforce did. This movie was the Megaforce I was hoping for.

It's really hard not to vote for NuNuku. Obviously there's Sandra. Then you have two likeable doofs in JT and Malcolm who always seem to choke, but make for great television. I don't know Aubry or Michaela that well since I didn't watch their season(s?), but I really enjoy Michaela and Aubry seems like a solid person. Only outlier there is Jeff Varner who... can be good in small doses?

Meanwhile, Tuvalu is stuck with Troyzan, Zeke, and Sarah, and especially Ozzy. Andrea and Cirie can't save anything from the man Erik and Siska worship's arrogance.

And I suck. Sorry, I just suck. I like how we played tonight, but my team... ... ...actually, I'd probably vote them if Debbie weren't around. And that's not even considering the preview. I like Brad, Tai, Hali, and Sierra well enough, but Debbie brings it down harrrd.

It was 4am, they had barely started talking, and then Tony came outta nowhere with way too much ****ing energy at four in the morning. Maybe if there was an actual approach down a path and not an ambush, maybe. I think they did pretty good, especially if you consider that an actual conversation the group was having a camp.

Seriously, Tony, you need your rest. Laying your head down to sort through all the **** you stir up that day and decompress helped your social game IMMENSELY. From what we saw, he couldn't sit still once and just kept going and going and going and going.

I've been listening to Survivor Historians podcast off and on the past few months and started Palau earlier today. A lot of the early talk was about the World War II theme of the season and the little touches the producers made like the ammo box urn or the submarine, and this is the first season in a long time that looks like it has a huge thematic flavor. The shipwrecks everywhere, the INCREDIBLE lighthouse tribal council, that sailboat they came in on, all the sharks, and that hilariously awesome idol (especially that underwater shot, **** yeah). Add in the two incredible looking beaches and my eyes are already sore from the spectacle.

Only major gripe?

Both water stations look identical. Not just the station itself, but the entire layout. When Cirie was talking with both Sarah and later Debbie, the only difference my brain was registering were the different colored bottles. Same camera angles, same approach, same style of discussion around the thing. It was weird.

Darla bites the dust off-screen... with Willow killing her? No Angel, Jesse, or Master? Xander much more affable, and better fit as a possible romantic pairing for Buffy than he ever was in the entire show?
