Suicide Squad was actually the first time I wanted to leave the theater. The second that Boomerang comes back to save the day FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON BECAUSE HE DIDN'T LISTEN TO THIS SAPPY BULLs*** AND HE OFFERED NO EXPLANATION WHY I was f***ing done.

that was so frustrating

it would both be funnier and more in character for him to just leave and it's not like that final battle loses anything if he's not there to uh... almost get killed and accomplish nothing

El Diablo was also pretty pointless until the very final scene (I guess they included him in the movie just for it)

At least the others were villains coerced into being on the Squad. Katana just showed up and hung out and then had like three lines.

Captain Boomerang is there so they have someone to kill off in the second movie.

oh, and of the two, I definitely liked Batman vs. Superman way more. Like a 4/10 for Suicide Squad and a 7/10 for BvS on my very generous review scale.

There were a couple moments where he had a pretty good Joker voice, but yeah he was mostly pretty bad. He sounded pretty good on the helicopter with Harley for some reason.

Margot Robbie's Harley was pretty good, though. most of the stuff I enjoyed involved her.

Im assuming you watched the director's cut, which I'm interested in seeing. The theatrical version at least may be the most dissapointing movie I've ever seen. The direction these movies take Superman in is just unbearable, it's basically a big fuck you to Superman fans.

Affleck is a GREAT Batman, though. Just needs.a better script.

No, it was just the normal version. Maybe I wasn't so bothered because I don't care about Superman very much. Aside from threatening Batman he seemed normally Supermanish to me.
