I asked if I could try one, and she lit one up for me and called my mom out to watch, them both thinking I'd get sick from it. I started smoking it, and after a bit they realized I wasn't sick and took it back. I didn't really see what the big deal was so I never tried them again. Idk why I didn't get sick like they expected, maybe I didn't inhale all the way or something, maybe my house being being saturated by secondhand smoke by 2 chain smokers caused it. Last year my doctor said my vitamin D levels were very low, and I was given a prescription for strong vitamin D pills. I took them, and went back, but they said my keels hadn't raised much and renewed my prescription. I never finished that prescription, I think I still have a refill on it. It's kinda funny, my only repressed memory(that I'm aware of) is when my brother did that. I can remember everything leading up to it, but as soon as it gets to the bad part, it's totally blank. We were both little, and he tricked me into going into an old dog house, once inside I realized the mistake, there was a huge hive of bees inside and they were getting agitated at me. I was too afraid to move and started crying for help, that's when he flipped the whole thing over with the exit facing the ground so I couldn't get out and the hive fell on me. I only remember getting flipped, nothing after, but apparently I had hundreds of stings and nearly died. It makes me feel like a horrible person, but my life would seriously improve if he were gone. Plus, it's not like he never wished the same for me, he was telling me when I was little that he wanted me dead, then my brother tried killing me to please him(and nearly succeeded), then I needed life saving surgery and he refused to consent and told the doctors to let me die, then much later he simply tried to kill me himself. He's an awful, hateful, selfish, narcissist, sociopath, and he is still making all of us miserable to this day. There's almost no redeeming qualities about the man at all. I don't think my feelings are unjustified, but I still feel like a garbage son for feeling that way. --- What did the pirate say on his 80th birthday? Aye Matey! |

The couple behind us that stayed kind of "harrumphed" at it. I grinned, but kinda felt embarrassed too, I had to explain it to my cousin what the joke was.
