None. They are predominately pushed by self-important people who want to feel smart and powerful but have no motivation to actually work towards things like university degrees or political positions. They lack any evidence and require you to make huge leaps and assumptions to make them work. They rely on the idea that large networks of people can work seamlessly, with zero dissents or conflict for large periods of times (a feat that even the most harmonious governments on earth can't accomplish). In order to even exist as a conspiracy, it's required they have zero tangible evidence, since the minute there is evidence, it's not longer a conspiracy. They are absolute garbage that lazy people push on Youtube to idiots who want to feel special by able to lord their 'knowledge' and 'insight' over their friends who actually worked towards something in their lives.

They make me so angry, honestly, because they distract from serious problems in the world. Corruption in government and economics is not run by some secret cabal. There are real bad men in positions of power in the WhiteHouse and on Wall Street, and they operate in broad daylight, relying on idiots who are so distracted by the latest Rothschild scheme that they just let them continue to exploit and abuse people across the globe. It's self-righteous garbage.

This, but I was just going to lazily post none.

I invite anyone who takes stock in the surrender monkey stereotypes to play a game or two of EU4. The big blue blob will beat the ignorance right out of you.

This is what I came to say. Here's a post I once saw in a Paradox facebook group that I found so relatable I saved it:
"Ah, EU4. After more than 2000 hours you can be sure that there is one thing this game has given you. It is not about the history and geography of the world. It is not about how technology and culture evolved and moved through the centuries. And it is not the ability to differenciate Austria and Australia.

What EU4 alone has given me is an unending hatred towards the French."

They are the big blue elephant in the room, forever and always.

Voting over?

Just in case:
1995 (Toy Story, Casino, Ghost in the Shell; voting against Hannah and Her Sisters pains me, though)

1987 (The Princess Bride, Full Metal Jacket, Raising Arizona; though voting against Ran is REALLY painful, since it's better than any of those head to head)

I'm embarrassed to admit that not only do I not finish the majority of the games I start, but this includes several games that I actually consider favorites. Age of Mythology is in my top 5, maybe even top 2 games of all time, and I have never beaten the campaign (and I'm primarily an sp person in rts'). I've probably started it a dozen times, but have never gotten beyond about the 2/3 mark, mostly due to difficulty. On the PS2, I love and have never beaten Destroy All Humans!, Mercenaries, and Dark Cloud 1, despite having started them all several times. I've also never beaten Spider-Man 2 on Gamecube despite several play-throughs (though I've gotten to the final boss), and on the DS have never finished HeartGold despite having played it twice (once stopping shortly after the halfway point with the Elite Four, and once after getting 12 or 13 badges (though the latter save still exists and could theoretically be continued).

And also my Coen Brothers ranking:

1. Fargo
2. Inside Llewyn Davis
3. No Country for Old Men
4. Blood Simple
5. The Man Who Wasn't There
6. Raising Arizona
7. Miller's Crossing
8. True Grit
9. A Serious Man
10. The Big Lebowski
11. Hail, Caesar!
12. Barton Fink
13. O Brother, Where Art Thou?
14. Burn After Reading
15. Intolerable Cruelty

Haven't seen Ladykillers or Hudsucker

Really 5-9 can be arranged in any order though and it would be basically the same, all I'd put on basically the same level. The top 4 are definitely the top 4 for me though and even though O Brother and Burn After Reading are near the bottom both are still really good.

You've got Fargo too high and Barton Fink waaaay too low IMO, but taste is taste.

I've seen relatively few of their films, but I'd have it:
1. No Country for Old Men
2. Barton Fink
3, Raising Arizona
4. O Brother, Where Art Thou?
5. True Grit
6, Fargo
7. Inside Llewyn Davis

Not a fan of either of the bottom two, though my problems with ILD are more personal than "this is a bad movie". Fargo just didn't speak to me, though I recognized McDormand's talent. The top 3 are all in my top 50.

I want to live in New York so much largely due to all the director retrospectives, screenings of new restorations of classic films, and just general screenings of old films (often on actual 35mm no less)

Ugh if only. I saw Hou Hsiao-hsien's Three Times on a 35mm print at the Lincoln Center last time I was in New York and it was beautiful. Scratches were present but the color and depth of the image was amazing, and it is FAR FAR FAR FAR better than the best version of it on home media/on the internet

Come to L.A. We have it just as good. Going to see Lawrence of Arabia in 70mm later this month, and possibly a Pee-wee's Big Adventure/Ed Wood double feature. If I could afford it there are a half dozen other screenings I would try to make just this month.

How much loyalty do you think most people will have to individual systems, though, at least in relation to their release dates? Especially since most classic titles don't come out around launch.

Do we age normally, or are we locked into whatever age/age range we pick?

This is key.

As it is I voted for mid-late 20s... which is where I actually am. I wouldn't mind being in my early 20s if it meant I could reset some things, though. In terms of aging mid-late 20s is really ideal because you've fully matured but entropy hasn't really started messing with you yet.

I don't understand the wannabe seniors. Why would anyone want an aged, possibly decrepit body if they could choose not to? All that does is make things harder.
