pendulum wasnt even overpowered at all
almost no pendulum decks ever made it to top tier status
of course pepe was a pendulum deck and completely dominated but thats just 1 out of dozens of pendulum decks.


link summoning is the most generic extra deck summoning type in existence
you just send cards to the graveyard to summon link monsters
doesnt matter what kind, level or even if they are tokens instead of real monsters.


they also kind of killed most pendulum decks
you see the modified rules for that come with link monsters is that each player as 1 extra deck monster zone and you can only summon extra deck monsters to your extra deck zone

so that means each player can only control 1 monster from their extra deck
of course if you are reviving it from the grave it goes into the regular monster zone.

links have markers that point in different dimensions
so when a link monster is on the field you can summon extra monsters to the monster zones the link monsters point to.
in fact if you can make a u shape you are then allowed to summon an extra deck monster to your opponents extra deck zone blocking them access to their extra deck
which is something that the link deck stargrails is great at doing.
also star grails can not be put in defense mode
they have no defense stat and cards like book of the moon do not work on them

summon fortune lady light use her to summon a fortune lady divine use that fortune lady divine to link summon another fortune lady divine. then use that new divines effect to summon the other divine from the grave yard.

so 1 light ends up with 3 divines on the field.

then you use 2 of their effects to summon 2 waters which lets you draw 4 cards.

if the link marker is to the side this also opens up xyz plays where you can go into a rank 4 freeing up space.

so with just 1 fortune lady card you automatically go plus 9 on the first turn while still having room to summon a fire to deal with your opponents boss monsters

and since you would be summoning 2 divines back from the grave you just dont summon them beside each other that way you can use your 2 waters to go into bahamut shark and then summon toadally awesome

she can also be turned into a decent healer which is a good alternative to rena since as much as i love rena she is still unfortunately a spellcaster in a star ocean game.
so she isnt as good as the melee fighters

that the movie actually is really good once all the pointless characters die
once the leading lady and the predator are the only characters left to fight the alien it gets really good
badass predator + badass lead vs badass monsters was actually very entertaining


but everything leading up to that was mostly boring
they really should have had less characters to get to the team up with the predator and the lead quicker

my issue with that is actually the opposite of that which wasnt even a complaint


i think they introduced the red and blue thunder ninjas too quickly
ninja storm was interesting by having only 3 rangers but they didnt really have time to set in a 3 team dynamic because rather quickly there team became 5
also the thunder ninjas being blue and red bugged me because there already was a blue and red wind ninja
i heard that power rangers wanted to make a yellow thunder ranger making it a power rangers original ranger like the titanium ranger but they didnt have the budget
i would have been fine had that been the case with 3 wind and 3 thunder ninjas with just different shades of the same color

but thats not what happens and i have trouble getting over that.
i havent seen dino thunder or jungle fury at all but i did watch linkaras history of power rangers and so i know that dino thunder has the same issue that it introduces new rangers to quickly for the 3 man team dynamic to really take form.

he said that jungle fury actually has a decent time with just 3 rangers

the only teens on wild force were alyssa and max. she was 18 and i think max was supposed to be around 16
