Watched Evil Dead (1981) last night - 7/10. Had almost every cliche in the book, but it's undeniably a classic & most of those cliches were forgivable given the fact that it's a 36-year-old movie.

Nah. Very little on it if you don't like generic licensed platformers, Japanese "Weeb trash" RPGs, or interactive movies. Castlevania SOTN is probably the best game on the system, and the only one I love.

Muppet Race Mania was good though.

On that note, have you seen [REC]? Found footage movies seem to be your thing & it's pretty widely considered to be the scariest of its kind, so you might wanna give it a whirl yourself.

oh yeah you mention The Thing but did you see both. There's the recent prequel, and John Carpenter's which is older but holds up really well. see the one you didn't

it's fine, I have to learn to offer with no expectations

if you don't mind found footage, the 3 V.H.S movies are great (some people only like the first tho)

the SIREN is a full blown movie based on one of the mini stories in the first VHS, but it's not found footage

Southbound is great, with an interesting meaning to figure out

Jerusalem offers an interesting variation of found footage movies

off the top of my head that's it for now

I'm not super interested in "found footage" movies outside [REC] (2007). As for The Thing, I've seen the original & I'm not really intent on watching the 2011 one. I'll jot down Southbound as a "maybe", though!

The Thing 9/10

Most recent one I saw was Lost Highway, which is kind of a tough one to rate; the first forty minutes or so was fantastic & probably my scariest movie experience, but the latter 2/3 was kinda meh - it had its moments, but ultimately felt overdone in the "edgy" department & felt almost like a self-parody of other Lynch movies.

Pineapple is a straight garbage pizza topping and it has nothing to do with how it tastes or flavor combinations.

It holds too much water, such that it never gets too temperature and it makes the pizza soggy.

The hell are you talking about? Most of the pineapple's water is concealed within, resulting in a juicy explosion when you bite into it, and the sauce/cheese keeps whatever moisture isn't concealed within the pieces of pineapple from getting the crust soggy.
