I've been neglecting capturing Personas in the second dungeon. I'm just wondering if level 17 is high enough to complete it. I hate grinding, so I really don't want to go that route.

I did it at level 18 and it wasn't much of a challenge.

So when and where can I read books? I only had 1 chance on the subway to read so far and sitting on the sofa doesn't let you read anything (unlike Persona 4).

You can read them at the side of the counter near the door at the café. I think you can see some books already there.

How high? im only in the second palace and i think its rank 3/4 so far?

For Death it's rank 5 and you can buy SP recovery accesories. They start off quite expensive though but get cheaper once you get to rank 8. For Hierophant rank 2 lets you make coffee which is SP recovery item. Making it costs you time though, I'm assuming you can make more coffee at a time or make it recovery more SP later on.

They really, really shouldve fixed that tbh.

Get the Death Arcana confidante higher and you'll find SP recovery less of a problem. Hierophant also helps in that regard. I think we'll end up with a navigator team mate who'll help as well, as we did in Persona 4.

I just got the 4th team mate (well 5th if you count the mc). It seems like the dungeons arew going to keep needing repeated visits to max them out.

That is a huge imorovement over the persona games previously, which is one of my main gripe.

The main dungeons are hand crafted the side ones are random.

Am I supposed to be doing the palaces in one shot, or should I just do part of them and then go back to the real world and do activities there? I ask because I find that I am running out of ammo/SP fairly quickly and there aren't a ton of items available to recover my stats, but I am very anxious about the 14 day time limit

For the first dungeon at least you need to use at least two days after you get to certain point they basically say "well that's all we can do for now". For time management purposes it'd be best to get to that point as quick as you can and finish it the day or so later. I think later dungeons will be the same.

I always name my MC after characters from other MegaTen games.

I've done the first dungeon now, I ended up switching to normal mode. Does anyone know anywhere you can search for persona by the skills they have?

Why hasn't anyone else made Persona 5 general yet. It's been 04/04 in several English speaking countries for hours now.

I'm about to steal the first heart the games pretty awesome but I don't remember any previous Megaten games have so many status effect in the first dungeon. I do wish they took a few more features from SMTIV, like the fusion search and physical attacks using SP rather than HP. I also have a feeling I'm going to get sick of the after battle screen by the end of the game.
