She is so different in the comics you wouldn't believe it, and virtually none of her backstory on the show is even in the original story. Don't get me wrong, I do love the show and what they've done with Jesse and Cassidy, but I think this take on Tulip was wrong.

I hope you decide to check out the comics at some point, I'd be very curious to hear your thoughts.

I get what you're saying about season two, Johnbobb. From what I've seen so far, season one was stronger, and had a more well-rounded cast of characters. But I think it's important to remember that the season isn't even halfway through and is taking the time to set up the pieces. It's really premature to judge it when you've only even seen a cameo for like a second of the main villain, who will likely get a ton of focus soon (I hope). I don't want to spoil anything about the character, but he's one of the highlights of the comic, and he should easily fill the gap left by the lack of Odin.

Also, I think there have been some awesome moments this season, that fight scene set to Uptown Girl filmed in one continuous shot was incredible, just to name one example. I'm hoping to see more stuff like that as the season goes on, Preacher really knows how to do a unique fight scene when they want to.

What I don't believe is going to happen is having the show stabilize in one place, as Preacher was always meant to be a road trip story. That's how it is in the comics, it's not a story set in one town. But I think it will focus in more on a clear-cut story, just give it time.

Following in the tradition of such characters as Gleek the monkey from Super Friends, Snarf of ThunderCats, and Jar Jar Binks, Neelix is a character who is basically just there for comic relief, but who never actually succeeds at being funny or anything other than irritating. Even in culinary skills, he was largely a failure, whose meals the crew tolerated as an alternative to consuming Ensign Kim, and Neelix was surpassed in usefulness by the Chef of Enterprise (who does not, in fact, look anything like Jonathan Frakes).

That episode was traumatic.
