hey could refer to standard lean women (who he does reference, sure) but why would mannequin be the outlier? and he didn't reference any old mannequin, he specifically talked about the bikini ones. as in the ones that tend to have a giant rack and a slim body. if you read a sentence that includes that and porn stars, are you thinking of the ones who are slim or the ones with giant fake t***? you aren't thinking of these things in the whole "perpetrating unrealistic beauty standards" way that Barbie/cartoons get thrown into as well? something Hollywood is constantly accused of

Mannequin is there mixed in with the actual human women because he wants to establish the women who don't look like his wife as fake. Fat wife is better than them because only fat wife and other heavy women are somehow "real".

Which comes back to him coming across like he thinks he's a hero. It's not just about him being a guy who likes his thicc wife, it's about him triumphantly escaping society's fake beauty standards by loving a "real" woman. He says
the media marginalizes women by portraying a very narrow and very specific standard of beauty (thin, tall, lean) I realized how many men have bought into that lie. He's the smart guy who saw through the medias lies while other men are dummies who have fallen for something fake.

the first one ranges from women who have a ton of plastic surgery to those who have none but by the other two examples, is clearly referencing those who do, the ones with giant fake boobs.

Movie characters and porn stars can just as easily refer to real human women who are conventionally attractive, since the whole thing is about how is wife doesn't fit into that convention. He also references women on the cover of Cosmo, which again, are real human beings. Mannequin is the outlier here, and it's use is just to reinforce the "fakeness" of the conventionally attractive women he's deriding.
