Cheesus crust, that latest Promised Neverland chapter though.

These kids are hardcore, and they're ONLY 12 YEARS OLD!

I have no interest in watching it, NA has horrible track record of live action anime movies and the original is sacred to me so I don't want to taint that.

You know, I never understood this and those "It ruined my childhood!!!" statements.

It's not like the new movie suddenly erases the original series. They're still there right?

If you didn't like the remake, why not then go ahead and watch the original and enjoy that like you wanted?

Same goes for video games as well.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not gonna watch it-mainly because the trailers made it look terrible and I have no faith in NA's track record of live action anime remakes- but to not watch it for fear of it "taking away" or "tainting" your childhood memories, just seems like an inane reason to me.

Oh this is good news. Looks like MHA is gonna be a Simuldub release. Woo! I was worried I had to wait for a year to get dubs like normal. Now I only have to wait for a months O I can binge it.

Started reading this manga called Grand Blue.

It's from the same guy who wrote Baka and Test and it's just as, if not even more, GUT-BUSTINGLY HILARIOUS!

It's rare for me to actually laugh out loud when reading stuff, but this one manages to do it with every chapter.

I'm halfway caught up with Promised Neverland; I probably would have read it all if I weren't trying to pace myself.

Interesting revelation with the mole and how he fits into all this. But Mama being as smart as she is, I'd bet that even this was within her calculations; they'd better not get too cocky.

If you like the cerebral mind-game stuff, I highly recommend Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen (aka Kaguya-sama Wants to be Confessed to: The Geniuses' War of Love and Brains)

You can probably tell from that sweetdiculously long title, but it's a romcom that focuses on two geniuses trying to outwit, outplan, and force the other to confess first.

It's honestly one of my all-time favorites, and certainly one of the more brilliantly written mangas I've read. I have a feeling you'll like this one.

Hyped for S2 of MHA

Which is probably one of the better arcs in the series.

Now I don't know whether I should catch it as it airs, wait for the season to finish airing and binge, or wait for the dub.

definitely subbed

I already watched dubbed, and it was pretty good.

Jeez, I forgot how much of an obnoxious shithead Bakugou was at the beginning.

I wonder what the people who haven't read the manga feel about him. It takes him at least 5 separate arcs to even get a sliver of a redeeming personality.

Started watching My Hero Academia.

I watched the first two eps in both subs and sub to see which one I should go for.

I think I'm gonna go with dubs for this one. I love All Might's engrish, but Chris Sabat brings a lot of personality to him (in a language that I can actually understand), plus, the dub is actually pretty good. Almost on par with FMA and Cowboy Bebop.

^Just read the first chapter.

What. The. Fuck.

I may just have to keep reading this one. I also like the artwork; it's refreshing and kind of western.

It's really good. Definitely a contender for one of my all-time favorites.

Just bought Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns. Unfortunately I couldn't get a plushie. :(

Oh well, I'll be playing it after I finish cooking dinner. Tonight it's schnitzel! (first time cooking it)

Gotta say too, I LOVE how XSEED manages their games. It really feels like they truly appreciate the games they're working on and they interact with the fanbase and community regularly and listen to all the feedback.

Like, the fact that they would try and explain just how hard it would be to localise DLC and be upfront about how much work and effort they have to put into it, not to mention being apprehensive and worry about whether they should make it paid DLC to cover costs, is refreshing to see from a game publisher nowadays.

Oooh! I just found out that Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns is coming out on the 28th.

I haven't been keeping up with the Harvest Moon (now Story of Seasons technically) games since A New Beginning (which I didn't like) so this was a nice surprise. It looks like this game is gonna be a huge improvement over that. Haven't played a proper harvest moon game in a while so this looks like a good place to start back up!

Plus, I get a capybara plushie if I pre-order!

Boo. Another manga I was reading got axed. :(

It's always irritating whenever a manga gets axed in the middle of the story, but at least Aizawa-san Multiplies ended in that lull period between arcs, and the major plot holes got somewhat resolved earlier.

Really though, the japanese manga industry is ruthless.

I guess my answer would be yes and no.

I think I read something somewhere that To-love-Ru will be continuing the story in a new manga series but it'll have a different name.

In any case, while you're waiting for that, you could check out Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san and Youkai Shoujo Monsuga. I highly recommend those to fill your ecchi needs! ;)
