That's not so bad! 10 days, you got it. I'm lucky because I really enjoy my job, even though I'm just doing it while I'm in college.

A Millersville man pleaded guilty Thursday to charges that involved luring a 16-year-old from her Ohio home to take her to a "party" and then forcing her to work as a prostitute in his apartment.

Craig Allen Corey II, 23, of Chillicothe, Ohio, who had been stationed at Fort Meade, pleaded guilty to human trafficking charges, according to the Maryland U.S. attorney's office.

Corey was charged this past April, after Anne Arundel County police raided his apartment in the 600 block of Millwright Court. An ad on the Web site Craigslist led an undercover officer to the apartment, where a woman took off her clothes for $100. On a signal from the officer, other policemen raided the apartment and arrested Corey.

He recruited women from his Chillicothe hometown and Watertown, N.Y., where he previously had been stationed at Fort Drum, as well as women from other states using the Internet, according to a news release from the federal prosecutors. He and another man, Jacob Tyler, 23, of Chillicothe enlisted at least 12 women to come to Maryland to be prostitutes, according to the news release. Once in the state, they were photographed both unclothed and partially clothed, and were given aliases, which were advertised on Craigslist using Corey's laptop.

Facebook, YouTube and other social networking sites were used by Corey to recruit women and advertise the business, including at least seven ads offering sexual acts with a 16-year-old on Craigslist, prosecutors said.

Corey received a percentage of the profits, earnings thousands of dollars per week, buying Ecstasy and BZP, a drug similar to Ecstasy. He used the drugs, which also included marijuana, Xanax and Percocet, and gave them to the women and customers, the release said.

Corey's sentencing is scheduled for July 30. He faces up to life in prison if convicted on charges that include sex trafficking, distributing drugs and interstate commerce to engage in sex with a minor.

Tyler pleaded guilty on July 10th to his involvement. Robert Harris, 21, and Richard Johnson, 23, both of Chillicothe, pleaded guilty to similar charges related to their involvement in sex and drug trafficking. All three defendants are scheduled for sentencing on July 30.

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WICS) — The woman who crashed a van into a Springfield McDonalds’ earlier this year was sentenced in court Friday.

We've been following this story ever since we first brought you the shocking video of the van plowing through the window, narrowly missing late night customers.

Newschannel 20's Adam Rife reports on the sentence.

STOCKTON, Calif. (KCRA) —Stockton Mayor Michael Tubbs condemned the violence in the city over the weekend and is considering a couple different ways to combat crime, including one that pays people not to commit crimes.

There were four homicides in Stockton between Monday and Wednesday night, bringing the total number of killings in the city to more than 24.

Tubbs released a statement Wednesday night after the string of violence.

"All life is sacred and even one homicide is too many ... overall, crime continues to trend downward but we must remain vigilant," Tubbs said.

The city is exploring a couple options in the hopes of curbing the number of violent crimes in the city.

The first option is out of Detroit called Project Greenlight. In this situation, live cameras would be set up inside and outside of businesses in Stockton, and the cameras would be monitored in real-time from the police headquarters.

The second option is more controversial out of the Bay Area. Richmond's Advance Peace uses taxpayer dollars to pay men with firearm history to not shoot guns.

In exchange, the men can participate in adult fellowship, mentorships and job opportunity programs.

That program has shown some success at decreasing violence, but it's unclear how sustainable to program can be.
