I just don't understand how people with access to so much information continue to vote Republican in this day and age, especially with the lack of evidence supporting most of what the Republicans accuse Democrats of doing.

My grandparents only watch fox news and are terrified of "the blacks and Mexicans" who are "stealing from social security".

There are plenty of old people like them who will blame millennials when they finally kick the bucket.

The sad thing is that those groups are paying a lot more into Social Security than Trump and his cronies ever have.

No, you're misusing the word "evidence." I feel like conservatives are using the word "evidence" to mean "proof." Evidence is not proof. A body of evidence constitutes proof.

It does not need to be a recording of Flynn saying "thank you for the election interference Comrade Kislyak" for it to be evidence.

I never said I was against an investigation. But everyone is acting like it is a forgone conclusion that there was collusion, when there has not been one iota of evidence presented to support that.

Well take the Clinton/Lynch thing. I take that as "evidence" that Bill Clinton obstructed justice. I can't tie it to Hillary herself, but to me that's enough to call it evidence. Not proof. Evidence.

None directly. But there's so much smoke there's probably a fire.

-We know that Flynn was compromised by the Russians during the Campaign, because Obama relayed as such to Trump after he was elected, and Sally Yates relayed as such to Trump after he took office, for which she was expressly fired.

--We know that all top decision makers knew of Flynn's compromised position before they took office, and that Mike Pence was lying when he said he was unaware. We have documented evidence of when he was made aware.

--We know Flynn illegally colluded with Russia during the President-Elect stage to assure them that the Obama sanctions levied due to Russian election interference would be revoked under President Trump.

--We know Trump told Comey that he "hoped" Comey would let Flynn off the hook. This, despite Trump knowing for a fact that Flynn was compromised by Russia and colluding with them regarding sanctions prior to taking office, and after firing Flynn for failing to disclose meetings with them.


It's true that there is nothing directly damning in those facts in and of themselves, but to me they represent something obviously running deeper. Which is why there are many ongoing investigations.
