Zapdos is actually the one I was disappointed in. Direct references to things are fine, whatever, but I didn't think it really made sense for Zapdos. I guess it's probably due to the spiky head feathers or something, but still didn't really mesh imo.

I enjoyed it quite a bit.

I'm confused by why Elektra wanted to run the hand after she killed Alexandra though. Didn't really make sense to me.

I think it was just that after experiencing death, she wanted to make sure she never had to experience it again. She said she didn't give a crap about the Hand, she just wanted their resources or whatever. Though I dunno maybe the Dark Sky is also a corrupting force which is why she didn't just kill the other members of the Hand and take the substance to use it for good.

I feel like this may have been the last time anyone goes beyond the Wall, so this was like their last chance to "resolve" the hanging Benjen plot. So they wrote for Jon to stay behind as a way for him to see Benjen. Though I mean they could've easily just had them find Benjen while on the hunt for a wight and still had him die while buying Jon enough time to get back on Drogon or whatever.

Finished it yesterday also. Was disappointed to see it was only 8 episodes, but it told its story. It was a fun story but didn't really reach the highs of Daredevil/Jessica Jones/Luke Cage. Probably because there wasn't much time to really delve back into the characters for this one.

I'm still annoyed that they didn't use the super badass ninjas like in Daredevil (aside from that one Black Sky flashback), and the power levels of a few characters seemed pretty inconsistent. Danny basically can't even get Luke to flinch with his normal attacks, but then they show the Japanese dude and Elektra could knock him around pretty easily, which should mean that their attacks should've absolutely broken the others, but by the end they were both kind of jobbing. I also thought it was strange they didn't take a moment to show that amazingly Claire knew all of them. Her past experiences with Daredevil weren't even really mentioned at all.

BW2 still had like 5 new towns/cities plus routes/caves/etc. The "updated" Alola map released with the trailer shows, like, maybe one new place? But we'll probably be exploring places left out of the original like the golf course and lighthouse.
