If it's a standard fig that can be purchased at retail I'm 50/50 on opening. Sometimes I might keep it in the box, sometimes I might open it if it comes with a bunch of accessories and I wanna pose it a certain way. If it's a convention exclusive or LE fig I will always keep it in the box unless theres no window packaging with the fig. I used to keep figs in the box with no window packaging and eventually my displays started looking like a storage unit. |

A single issue might be priced more if it's a variant cover with a limited print run or just an issue with more collectors value. I can't imagine a standard new release 32 pager being more than 4 dollars tho. |

The no movie rule is because on a first date you can't talk during a movie. This can make it harder to establish a connection out of the box which is key imo. A movie at your place for a first hang out is a little strong... but go with your gut man. |

Anyways, if you see her at school just talk to her after class. Ask if she wants to grab a bite with you on the weekend or offer another activity so you guys can talk and get to know each other bette.r |

If it's someone I've met through mutual friends I'll try to ask to hang out one on one in person, if said group of friends is all hanging out in a larger group. Otherwise I'll generally call and ask to grab a lunch or another activity (hike, check out an art exhibit etc), NEVER MOVIE FIRST DATE. After I've hung out with a girl or at least established good communication I'll text. |
