STLCards1991 03/27/17 9:59:37 PM #366 | Andromeda is cut from the same cloth as ME1, for better and for worse. It's definitely a good game but the general lack of polish is pretty apparent. ME fans should like it. I probably prefer it to the first one but I'm not a huge fan of that one these days. I go back and forth between 2 and 3 when picking a favorite but I played them both a million times. |
Topic | Sports Discussion Topic #156: Tring Spraining |
STLCards1991 03/27/17 9:26:16 PM #363 | No but ME2 and 3 are both at least like top ten all time for me so YMMV. |

STLCards1991 03/27/17 8:36:49 PM #361 | Say what you want about Mass Effect: Andromeda, but there aren't many games out there where you can have casual sex with aliens. |

STLCards1991 03/24/17 10:05:24 PM #323 | Who has UCLA as champ? Ultima? Whoever it is one of us is going down tonight. |

STLCards1991 03/18/17 11:06:36 PM #281 | I got all the towers and all the memories. That was about all that mattered to me completion-wise. I think there are like 900 korok seeds by the way. |

STLCards1991 03/18/17 10:46:39 PM #277 | Once I finish the main quest in a game I know I'm very unlikely to go back. In terms of pure completion stats I'm not even close to done done, but I went ahead and fought Ganon because I knew I had gotten what I wanted out of the game. It felt like time to finish the thing. And it'll probably be a while before I go back for a second run. |

STLCards1991 03/18/17 8:34:04 PM #274 | I finished up Breath of the Wild tonight. It was so damn good. Now whom amongst us will join me in playing Mass Effect Andromeda in a few short days? Oh yeah and I have a basketball game on in the background. |

STLCards1991 03/18/17 6:09:48 PM #271 | Oh man... These brackets are going bust!!! |

STLCards1991 03/15/17 8:06:10 PM #261 | I don't think the map has to be bigger in the next game but it probably should be another open world sandbox experience. And the more futuristic style makes sense as an evolution because if you stay in this type of Hyrule in an open world you run the risk of repeating yourself with the same environments and everything. BotW's map is a success because it feels alive even with that massive scope in a way few games ever do. You can interact with the environment in so many ways and there's so much wildlife to see (and photographing them is fun too) and natural occurrences to look at and places to explore. The wind blows and shakes the trees, lightning strikes and knocks trees down, etc. Countless small touches that basically only Nintendo would bother with. It's a fantastic game. That said I'm also about done with it, having done |

STLCards1991 03/12/17 8:46:21 PM #225 | I have submitted a perfect bracket. It took me a whole two minutes. |

STLCards1991 03/11/17 9:27:47 PM #211 | Some guy on the comics board made a crack about Mark McGwire and tagged me in it for some reason and it keeps getting quoted so I keep getting notifications for it. So that's what I'm dealing with today. |

STLCards1991 03/10/17 2:04:35 PM #205 | Well I never died playing ALBW and I think I died maybe once in Link's Awakening and those were both first playthrough. Those are the 2D games I've played most recently. ALBW might be especially easy though. Hey isn't there a death counter in that one? Anyway, the more Zelda games I've played the more I realize how much I prefer 3D Zelda. 2D is worthy too but I pretty much prefer any 3D Zelda to any 2D. |
Topic | Sports Discussion Topic #156: Tring Spraining |
STLCards1991 03/10/17 12:50:30 PM #201 | The 2D Zelda games tend to be easier in my experience, not counting the first two. But it's not like you die a ton in OoT either. |
Topic | Sports Discussion Topic #156: Tring Spraining |
STLCards1991 03/10/17 10:56:21 AM #199 | No you aren't alone on that. This is the most I've ever died in a Zelda game, easily. |

STLCards1991 03/10/17 2:13:45 AM #194 | I think I have five heart containers and three stamina upgrades so I'm +1 on you. It's possible I have four stamina upgrades but I think it's three. I've only got one tower left to get to though. |

STLCards1991 03/06/17 11:36:14 AM #149 | I saw it too. It's definitely really good. It's also brazenly defiant of previous movie canon, which is cool. I do generally like the X-Men movies though. |

STLCards1991 03/04/17 8:59:13 AM #139 | I've read about those joycon problems but luckily haven't encountered any yet. And yeah it has a ton of inputs. For some reason it seems easier to play in handheld mode than docked, at least for me. |

STLCards1991 03/03/17 6:29:55 PM #135 | Yeah. It's pretty... wild. But really it is. Immediately it's unlike any Zelda before it. |

STLCards1991 02/28/17 8:20:59 AM #81 | DorkLink posted... I've always thought it's crazy how teams can sell so freely in baseball. It seems like the most active trade deadline of the four sports, generally. Why are some teams so willing to give up a bunch of prospects for a guy that they'll probably have for two months? It's because prospects are generally overvalued by fans in MLB. They have a much lower hit rate than the best prospects in the other sports. |

STLCards1991 02/24/17 10:56:13 PM #44 | You're right, especially since it's rude to talk too much about open world games in general for that reason, but he'd still find ways to be annoyed by our posts. |

STLCards1991 02/23/17 11:57:20 AM #31 | Really good joke Eric. Anyway Mighty Nuggets is better. It reminds me of the short-lived Mighty Wings at McDonald's, notable only for Joe Flacco's good tweets about it. |
