List of things that would've happened to me had I decked either of the two reporters who were getting up into my face and heckling me during my internship at the Unicameral:

-At minimum slapped with a third degree assault charge
-Senator I was interning for would have (rightfully) kicked my ass to the curb
-Lost the academic credit for said internship
-Some form of discipline from the university, probably probation

Congratulations for having less self control than my heavy drinking 22 year old self and being rewarded for it. =|

Does not like strangers at all. Doesn't even care for my brother/sister-in-law/niece, though I suspect that's because they have their dog's smell all over them.

The short answer is oil. The long answer is oil and they were a counterweight to the regional aspirations of Iran and Iraq in the latter half of the twentieth century while being relatively stable then and in the present day.

Now how that latter half balances out the spread of Wahhabism and the resulting terrorist groups is beyond me.

So if my friends are doctors does that mean I have medical experience?

In the sense that if you followed them around and were exposed to hefty amounts of their work, you would gather a semblance of an idea of what is going on and be able to pick out patterns.

Politics and medicine are not exactly comparable, however.

I would say that older FPS (Quake and TFC come most prominently to mind) at least approaches fighting games in terms of skillcap. Would still give a fairly weighty nod towards fighters at the end of the day.

Modern FPS is extremely limited in the number of variables at a given moment compared to days past, so that's a hearty lol in that regard.

Disregarding the Lost Cause schtick, Lee's command was apt during the war, but the notable failures at Antietam and Gettysburg significantly darken the legacy. The notion that a swift and decisive blow to the Union (and the morale of the people/top brass) was necessary was on point, but those two losses sealed the deal that the superior logistics of the Union would come out on top over the long haul.

I do agree that the wild goose chase leading to his surrender brought only even more unnecessary bloodshed given the state of the war in both the east and west.
