A lot of the time people settle just to avoid long expensive legal battles and embarrasing headlines and PR.

Bill may have paid out millions in settlements (or at least Fox has) but fighting those battles might have cost nearly as much and dragged Bills name through the mud the same way it has now


Right now theres no real evidence for the claims beyond "This person said this happened then was given a settlement"

Yeah they toned down the action horror and toned up the atmsopheric horror.

Basically they looked at Konami and said "Wait you idiots aren't making PT? After all that fuss you caused!? SWWWWWWEEEET!" and made it themselves.... then put a gun in it for some reason...


Which means it's reviewed really well but classic Resident Evil fans hate it for how it's nothing like other Resident Evil games.

As much as people whine about Krem I think Dragon Age Inquisiton handled the same subject matter fine.

I had no problem with how they handled Krem. He wasn't defined by his sexuality, and you had to prod him to get the info out. I have no idea how they handled the transexual character in Andromeda, but if they're apologizing and issuing rewrites, they handled it pretty poorly.

They did the same mistake baldur's gate made where you talk to them and they go

Reminds me of this experiment a TV show did where they sent this little girl to a busy train station and had her looking lost and sad. Not one single adult male tried to help her, and the TV show lost faith in humanity or something, but they also had a ton of security people on the fringes just in case. Adult males just do not interact with unknown little girls because society is going to think of the worst of them.

I call BS on this.

He's been sued 5 times for sexual harrasment and all 5 cases ended in settlements, totalling $13 million

1 of the claims was that he tried to forcefully kiss a woman, when she backed away she had to do so with such gusto that she fell over, he then tried to get to her fired because she didn't sleep with him and when she tried to sue he threatened that he would ruin her career if she continued

Another claim was that he would make sexist comments to her infront of groups of people, including "You need to buy a vibrator" and "You're noisy for a washing machine" among others. also claiming that he would tell her his fetishes over the phone and masturbate while trying to have phone sex with her. She settled for $9 milion dollars on the condition that she publically stated that Bill was guilty of “no wrongdoing whatsoever”

Less is known about the other claims but they repeat the pattern of either "He hit on me and tried to sleep with me, promising to advance my career and then got me fired when I rejected him" to "He said horrible sexist abuse things to me in front of our colleagues."

P2E unfortunately commited suicide. The details have been addressed here. His tipping point was the wife cheating on him most believe, although no one is able to confirm it.

Sarm walked away from this place citing its toxic nature. I think he finally realized he was a big contributor to the toxicity here.

For example, say a black guy yells 'fuck you' at a bunch of white people and gets beat up. Sarm claims it's a hate crime. Now if the exact same situation occurred with the races reversed (so a white person gets beat up instead) Sarm would say 'don't start none won't be none.'

That is the type of 'racism' people associate with Sarm. He was never a hateful racist, but his comments to current events were always molded by the race of those involved.

He really was a hateful racist.

He flat out said that he was talking with his friends and they said opinions he didn't agree with, he secretly wanted to beat them up but was too weak to do so, would smile and nod but then enjoyed hearing stories of people who agree with him beating up people who didn't, so he could live vicarciously through them.

Those were his own words.

That's close to the definition of hate-filled, and a lot of those "opinions" were racially based.

Dude was going off the deep end and was starting to get sick of people pointing out the horrible things he routinely said and justified.

Toxic is indeed the word for it. He was a toxic and very angry man.

I hope he finds the help he needs one day

It depends on what kind of horror game you're into.

Its story is balls and there's nothing original or clever in it whatsoever. But it nails the "Helpless, in danger, all you can do is hide or run!" Horror game that things like Slender and Amnesia popularized.

There is no combat whatsoever, no means of self-defense. You must either sneak past, hide from or run away from monsters at all times.

The other gimmick is that most of the rooms are very dark and your only source of light is your nightvision camera which requires batteries to use and depeletes quickly.

So there's a lot of both scripted and non scripted jumpscares where you'll walk into a dark room, use the camera, see nothing, few more steps, use the camera LBATHG MONSTER GRR!

If you're into that niche, then its one of the best examples out there.

If you're not into that niche, you will get bored.

A lot of people call it cheap, personally I don't think it's cheap, I just think it's trying to do one thing and does it well.

If you like Horror games I'd reccomend it. I really don't think it's very expensive.

I would save the whole thing until after the ending, since it's pretty light-hearted all around. It doesn't fit very well thematically with the game prior to the ending.

Citadel was the "Thank you for supporting the franchise" fanservice DLC for the diehard fans.

Also if you're cool with cheating (you naughty cheater you) there is an exploit where you can quick reload guns and quick heal BEFORE the animation finishes.

Look at your ammo counter in the corner, if the counter goes green then you've reloaded. At that point press block and you'll stop the reloading animation.

Same for healing, once your health is healed you can block and it will end the animation

This can save you a second or two if you're ever in a tight corner

A 23-year-old Melbourne man was arrested after police said he took a woman up on her dare to shoot her during an argument near a laundry room.

Allen Harold Turner Jr. was charged with attempted murder and unlawful discharge of a firearm after Melbourne police investigated a shooting that took place at Shull Manor Apartments off of University Boulevard on March 31. Police were called to Holmes Regional Medical Center to talk with a gunshot victim suffering from a wound to the upper left thigh, reports show.

The woman told police she was sitting near the laundry room when she was approached by "Jit," the man's nickname, which is also slang for a young person. The person told her to "get out of here," prompting the woman to hurl a curse at the man, records show.

Police said the pair began arguing when the man pulled out a black handgun and put it in the woman’s face. The woman then said "‘shoot, (expletive), shoot,’" which led to the man to back away. He then took aim with his firearm and shot two rounds toward the woman, records show. The woman ran from the area to prevent what police said was an attempt on her life, records show.

Police found two bullet fragments at the site. The woman was able to identify the man she knew as "Jit" through a photo lineup.

Turner was booked into the Brevard County Jail Complex overnight and is being held without bond.
