He meets all the legal requirements which are simply being born in America, being an American resident, and over the age of 35 which obviously Trump does as well as millions of people, that's not exactly a high standard. But obviously that's not what we mean by "qualified" in this situation so I'll go deeper. He graduated from Columbia University with a degree in political science and later Harvard with a law degree where he graduated magna cum laude and won an election as the president of the Harvard Law Review where he won despite being a liberal with conservatives being the majority. In between Columbia and Harvard he worked as a community organizer in Chicago where he did work trying to reform their public housing among other things before deciding he needed the law degree. After he got the law degree he interned at a law firm, then moved up to working as a civil rights lawyer as well as lecturing at the University of Chicago Law School, along the way settling down, having kids, and living a nice middle class-upper middle class life. Eventually deciding to run for office, getting elected as a senator and with his time as that passed over 300 bills delivering on things he believed in and stood for even when part of his time as a senator was under Republican majority. And during his elections he delt with issues of racism within the black community due to being half white and going to what's considered "white" universities and working for predominately "white" law firms and such as well as his nontraditional upbringing, and considering he was running in places and districts with the likes of Chicago with large black populations that's a legitimate hurdle to get over (and in some of them he didn't make it over but gained experience at least), especially when he was at times running against literal former Black Panther members/leaders who were seen as "more black" than him or people who see him as an Uncle Tom type thing. How is that unqualified for presidency? If anything that's an American dream success story a relatively average man worked hard and persisted, working his way up, getting into politics, and eventually making it to the presidency. Wether you agree with his actual politics or not is completely irrelevant, he was clearly qualified. As opposed to Trump who inherited millions from his dad, continued as a real estate mogul, tv host/personality, steak salesman, and starter of a scam university. Sure he did great for himself but nothing there remotely screams "this man should go right for the presidency!" And if you think Obama wasn't qualified what the fuck does that make Trump?
