I got what appears to be a +Def, - HP Elincia (assuming posters on the FEH board provided the correct stats for theirs) after 93 orbs. I'm pretty happy with that.

Two questions I forget the answers to:
1. How many AI trades can we do - is it one per off-season and one per regular season or something?

2. If we agree to a deal with another team's RFA, and say they're worth a 1st and a 3rd rounder, I would be giving up the lesser of two picks if I have multiple in the same round?

So in my case, I'd be giving up the Steelers' 25th pick overall instead of my 10th overall, and I'd be giving up the Patriots 3rd rounder?

Not a fan of Musou games to begin with, and I'm also mostly reacting to the trailer with the mostly terrible voice acting that came out a couple weeks ago.

It just comes across as a cheap cash-in. I guess some might make a similar argument against Heroes, but Heroes is a free to play mobile game which makes a pretty big difference to me.

Hm, I think the Saints' defense definitely still is playing a factor. Like that last pass to Rudolph was a bit high and probably would have been dislodged if there was a defender even close to him.

Though it also stands to reason that the Vikings' offense would be better this year than last.

It's amazing he learned nothing from giving up 7 to Dallas last year calling similarly dumb timeouts and was pretty fortunate to only give up 3 this time.

Just checked the Team Financials for the first time since the update and saw the Redskins' cap space. Haha, are they really 30 million over? I know they're an AI team so it doesn't matter, but I wasn't sure if that was a typo or not.

Just to clarify since I've forgotten how this works, when you say "potential" 1st rounder or original draft pick, you mean that you will in fact get that specific pick and not one from a different round as long as another team successfully sign thems, right?

So for instance, if you have a player drafted in the 1st round originally, and you offered them a low tender, it would result in the same draft pick compensation you would get if you offered them a mid tender?

Instead of mashing triangle to open a gate you can just hold it while she cranks the lever.

You barely had to push the button in MGS4, and it's been a while, but I imagine Uncharted is the same. Seems like a pretty pointless feature.

Nah. Knew it wouldn't but would have been nice.

My free pull from the new banner resulted in 4 reds and 1 colorless... Took the colorless and got another 4* Niles. Decided to do one more summon on it, and it gave me 4 more reds and another colorless... got 4* Clarine.

Used most of my remaining orbs summoning on the TT banner and got a -SPD; +HP Lucina... ugh. Looking like Gray and Summer Corrin are going to be my only focus pulls this month.

Yeah, there have been a couple times where I thought about spending money, looked at the shop, saw/remembered just how terrible the dollars-per-orb rate is, and then immediately resigned myself to the fact I wasn't going to get the unit I want.

If I was ever going to spend money, I'd probably be doing it right now between the TT banner, the Hero Fest, and the new SS banner, but I don't think I'd be willing to spend more than like $40 on this game. And there's a good enough chance that $40 won't even get you a unit you want that I just could never justify spending money on orbs.

Yeah, it's the other way around. Your bonus characters get a really significant boost, but it's not as though they made the enemies you're fighting more difficult or anything.

Not sure how difficult people are finding Sonya generally at the final map, but I know bringing in my own Sonya with green tomebreaker made the two attempts I did on the 7 maps at the start really easy (Ike, Reinhardt, Azura, and Sonya team).

Also, not that it's useful, but Gray is earning himself a hilarious 24 SP per kill. He's earned at least 2,000 SP for me in TT so far.

My free unit was 4* Hinata (yay Fury 3!) and I pulled the rest to get mostly garbage plus a 3* Subaki for inheritance.

Thinking I may spend 20 more orbs on the Hero Fest, and then sink the rest into going for Celica/Delthea. I have had really bad luck with these Hero Fests so far, so maybe it's best I stop pulling on it.

Having an extra green mage or dancer for Arena Assault would be nice though...

Yeah, I was in the same boat, with the same boon/bane Cherche, but pulled the trigger because I had plenty of feathers and also more importantly had the benefit of a - SPD; + DEF Camilla to sac. I later pulled my 3rd Camilla which was also - SPD; + DEF.

I haven't pulled enough Cherches to ever really consider going for a 4* +10 though.

Guys, I have 1000 FE Heroes points expiring by the end of the month. Do you guys even use those for anything?

I bought 3 light's blessings (max they let you redeem for light's blessings specifically now), and spent most of the rest on that 3DS Zelda picross game.

Oh, yeah, I realize now that my comment about luck could be interpreted multiple ways.

I meant that I had such good luck, even though it wasn't who I was pulling for, that the odds of me using this month's orbs plus what I have left and getting another Gray/something bad/nothing at all instead of Celica are just too high to risk it.

I still haven't tried arena assault yet since I wanted to level these guys up first, plus I've gotten lazy and have stockpiled a lot of fodder that needs to be doled out for SI.

Good news is I have something to spend stamina on again now before the Tempest Trial, as beforehand I'd already finished all the quests this month and had plenty of SP on all the 5* units I'd want to inherit stuff.

My free pull got me Clair, but I was planning to spend some orbs in hopes of getting Celica/Delthea, and I figured getting Gray would be alright too.

Went ahead and summoned the rest of the pool, and the lone green orb was my first Hector! (+Def; - Res)

After that was strictly pulling blue and red and ended up with a -HP; +SPD 5* Tharja and after around 75 orbs on the banner total ended up with Gray who's also -HP; +SPD.

Really wanted Celica, but I know I should save the rest of my orbs for Hero Fest at this point after that luck.

Unique hero count is now at 106 (picked up Clair, Hector, Caeda, and Gray).

With my free summon I had a pool of one colorless at the top and 4 reds to choose from. I tapped on the far right one hoping for the best and... was rewarded with a 3-star Draug!!

At least it was on a crappy banner, so hopefully my future free summons will be good when it really counts.

102/159 here. Probably a bit behind due to Summer Corrin being my only limited-time unit, and I never even pulled for anyone until Ike was released.

Meant to check this morning to be safe and just never bothered to, so I missed the Corrin bonus today which made my rank plummet from top 1,000 to just inside 12k. Good bye 1200+ feathers.

Finished around 4400th on Team Corrin. Like 30-some thousandth overall since Corrin only had one bonus. At least she still beat out Elise's bonus at the end!

the benefit to summoning before then is you get the unit to use before then. in the voting gauntlet and arena. that banner will not get the extra 4* rate or free pull on August 7th, only banners introduced August 7th or later will.

Went ahead and spent around 60 orbs and ended up with a +Def, - Res Summer Corrin, and then spent the extra 11 to pull the remaining 3 reds and got another Saber. Certainly could have done worse.

i think i'd rather go for Corrin at 3% than any of those at 5%.

I guess I don't know how they're handling the free summoning thing, though I imagine it's still safe to summon on new banners before that, but I'd rather get the the higher 4* percentage on summons at least, and unless I'm missing something, there won't be any benefit to summoning before then.

Hero Fest, I'm not sure about. I'll probably want to go for Corrin as well on the Summer banner, and I'll want to try for Celica on a TT banner. Might spend some orbs for Ninian. Already have 2 Ikes, and don't really need Julia now that I have Sonya, and don't particulary want Genny. Not sure what I'll end up doing there.

Well, defintitely won't be summoning again before August 7th now (thought about making one last pull for Delthea, but might not have pulled the trigger anyway). Wish I could trade back the 5* Cain and Minerva I got from looking for Delthea for the 120ish orbs I spent.

At least I ended up with Sonya off the othe other banner who'll be a bonus unit for the next TT. Bad news is she already has more SP than she'll ever need and is close to max HM as it is.

I feel like every time I seriously contemplate quitting this game, something comes out that ropes me back in, so this update will likely keep me in it for another month or two.
