We played two games: one pirate-themed with dice which was so-so, and another one Jenga-like where you have to put ladders on top of other ladders without them falling; this one was really fun and we had some good laughs. Then we had a last 20ish minute conversation She is probably in the top 3 coolest women I've ever met, and beautiful. I think we connected pretty well, there were not awkward pauses. I definitely like her a lot. The whole thing lasted 2.5 hours, after which she excused herself since she had to go to a friend's (it wasn't sudden, she had warned beforehand). However. This felt more like a couple friends going out. There was no physical contact other than kiss on the cheek at the beginning and the end (as usual in France), since we were sitting opposite sides of the table. It also didn't help that we were for the most part concentrating on the games themselves, so there wasn't a lot of real conversation. Nor my shyness, which I was already busy with during the whole exchange. All in all not bad for a first first date, I survived it. vbty3 09/01/17 8:23:11 AM #11	I'm a Democrat and pretty liberal overall, but CNN has been going pretty wacky lately. When they flipped out on Obama for using the n word, I was baffled. That's something Fox would do. He used it in the correct context, so why was CNN opposed to it? Then the whole Reddit do fiasco and admitting to contributing to false reporting. NPR (which is slightly liberal at times, yes) and PBS are much better news sources than the popular stuff.
