I'm someone who can appreciate when devs try new ideas and otherwise evolve the formula. I can be impartial and evaluate each entry on its own merits, and not expect them to do the same shit over and over because it worked so well that one time. But lots of people can't for whatever reason. If they want to play the same shit over and over, just play the favorite and ignore the noise

Less than 10K in my cars. Prob 75K in my work truck... I stopped keeping track a few years ago. I'm a supervisor/driver trainer now so I drive a lot less than I used to.

This is what happens when you let any jackass with a pulse and two braincells to rub together to acquire a gun. Way too many people have them. Most civilians aren't properly trained or responsible enough to own guns.

There need to be extensive background checks and mental health evaluations for anyone looking for a license to own a firearm. To be renewed yearly, with another background check and mental health evaluation at each renewal.

This would couple with a yearlong waiting period to purchase a firearm. The initiation of the application would start and one can get the ball rolling on the eval and BC, so once the year is up one should be cleared for purchase.

People should be required to go through a multi-week course on each weapon type they wish to own, which includes in-depth reviews of the harm that firearms cause. This would be footage of victims, as well as impact statements from survivors and surviving family members.

You want a handgun? That's a course. Shotgun? Another course. Long rifle? Another course. For each and every weapon you hope to purchase.

There needs to be yearly excise tax on each firearm owned which will contribute to a fund to help victims of gun violence, as well as help fund police efforts to curb gun violence.

Each gun owned should be insured like a car, should any incident happen where the gun owner is found to be at fault, their insurance can pay out for damages.

This should be the starting point for reasonable gun ownership.

On top of this, a robust gun buyback program for anyone looking to reduce or eliminate the amount of firearms they own.
