Anyway, sbell being town is the only bit of safety net we have and power has been decimated.

That probably should be enough to force us to give him king.

And you shouldnt be looking at it from "doing X is fucking dumb".

It is "why would he do X because it is fucking dumb if hes scum".

Like you could give me alternate hypothetical universe where Tidus is fakeclaiming cop and I could see that exact same thing happening. You don't get to put primary suspicion on the guy your role said was innocent and claim anything is out of bounds for dumb moves. I've seen consistency in fake claims go awry with much more experienced players than Tidus, to be sure.

And you say "well he'd consult with his scumteam and they'd help remove inconsistency" but why assume that for an on the spot claim done under some pressure. I'm pretty sure in Psych SBell got peeved because Tidus just claimed Juliet O'hara as vanilla when SBell wanted to use it.

Again you are making the argument "X guy doesnt do Y"

Your problem isn't going down the WIFOM rabbit hole. Scum knows this shit. When scum makes a fake claim, they are going to check what they've said and then make it add up because why the hell not.

Scum, especially newer scum, isn't going to contradict something so obvious.

Apologies I really am just feeling completely unmotivated and trying is, well, trying.

I'm not a huge fan of scare because he pushed the day fairly fast and lynched the cop without ever having much of a reason to suggest his claim had any scum motivation. I'm tired, I'm not reading back right now, but I recall a lot of just trying to tie in sbell and making the claim sound like a dumb double suicide. But just look at the player list, chances are scum is at least somewhat intelligent mafia-wise. The deaths have been middling at best.

Or Scare is being setup pretty hard by Lopen/Han but whatever. It was a really dumb play. There was little chance scum doesn't just setup a better more believable town scan in Tidus' position.

Scare should have known this and is probably just scum trying to shove.

I mean, yeah, but a good scumplayer will keep tags on their team.

I worry because the scum motivation for all of this is...questionable at best.

If he is scum, the people we're looking at on the scumteam because of this plan...interesting.

I think Zeraora is a good example for what Ermine was talking about awhile back about The Pokemon Company pushing a Pokemon to make it popular. I don't recall much enthusiasm for it when it first leaked in the US/UM datamine, but then TPC started giving it a push in various ways, and now people seem to like it.

Zeraora is weird because they released him at a weird time, made him oddly less obtainable than you'd think, and just never had much of a push for him at all til recently.

Which sucked cause I love his design.

I don't have the strong feelings I have in normal mafia and kingmaker stunts any sense I have of anyone feeling pressured, but Death is also town lean for me.

Anyway, turns out board 8 isn't quite the private ranting ground I take it for sometimes(This isn't necessarily a bad thing).

The reassurances have been, reassuring.

Spiraling down for so long still makes attempting to feel good complicated. Namely shoving all the bad feelings and memories that you start digging up when dragging yourself down back into the background instead of at the forefront of my mind.

Progress though.

The self-loathing and worry has returned again. I enjoyed the temporary reprieve.

I think if the king doesn't go full chaos mad with power day 1 it is hard to feel much of anything.

Didn't help though. Really drove home that certain players like red, scare, han would not cooperate. I actually thought Crescent would though, which is why I got so upset about it all.

I actually ended up getting kind of distracted. Then when I got a chance to get back in the game it was early in the morning and kingmaker really does do a good job of sucking up all motivation.

Hypothetically you are the king. You're not as cool as me and only have a single use vig shot and no further discussion would be allowed. Tell me who you'd shoot and if there was a specific post/point in the game that led you to that decision.

Well, I'd probably shoot plum because if hes town he will at some point inevitably think I'm scum and I have no faith in him to not screw up the game by trying to kill me.

Why the fuck would you hate the red vote. I think the idea of not wanting a delay on there being a king, especially when its a choice between two, is pretty obvious. Beyond that, I had long since made my preference of being more distrustful of Han clear.

What a bizzare take.

Also while mentioning this I'm going to give Scare a bit of a panic. I am going to Disneyland.

Twice in two days(Actually I'm just popping in for a little bit tonight because I didn't realize Soarin' was switching back to the crappy World version tomorrow when I actually planned to go).

I really don't want extended time without a King. The game is not going to go at a pace where anyone is going to feel the lightest bit of pressure til someone is King.

I don't trust a Han that thinks I'm town. I cant remember the last time Han thought I was town(Maybe recently, my memory is worse than he thinks mine is. But he does constantly think I'm scum)

The judge idea is interesting, but I dont know if we should let the King be the one to choose the whole panel.

Admittedly he does have full authority, but I still dont like that idea entirely

I'm going to treat whatever dumb game the king decides to run as a farce because it doesn't actually have real meaning.
