I kinda meant the updated PC version, it's like the N64 version only higher res, higher framerate and you can skip SOME cutscenes (not all though).

Turok 2 is also a game where I can be happy NOT finishing it, since the final battle with the Primogen is hella boring.

Another thing about King's Quest 2... I know it's a running gag to have advertisements for their other games in their games, but in the context of when KQ2 came out it must have been really weird to have not one, but TWO in-game advertisements for Space Quest.

Yes! I read all about this before, it's very interesting. Stuff like how many times a bubble pops all adds up to something, etc etc. These counters carry over from game to game / continues too. So maybe the 3rd or 4th time playing I'd start to get some really awesome treasures that'd pop up and it was because of those internal counters most people will never know exist.

yup, infact I don't actually know if the lucky 7 item appears in the NES version; In arcades it appears every 777th floor completed so to test if it can appear in the NES version you'd have to do 777 rounds and I don't know if item counters are shared across consecutive plays like in the arcade.
