No, but it's certainly influential and iconic. It's quite dated these days, though.

The game still controls great (not talking about the camera, it sucks). It is kind of amazing it nailed 3D controls so early. It basically blew away all earlier 3D games in that department.

It is one of the most influential games ever. We haven't really experienced a paradigm shift like it caused since.

If you have the expansion from the Steam Store, you don't have to mess around with the mod page. You just start up Downfall like a normal game.

As long as you have Slay the Spire on Steam, you can download the expansion (it is technically a separate game).

Hexaghost with a lot of afterlife and bring back afterlife cards seems kind of OP. Maybe I just got lucky, but I was able to beat the secret act and true final boss on my first try with the Hexaghost.

Alopecia is not the same as male pattern baldness and much more rare.

It is socially acceptable to laugh at bald men but not women. Probably in part because balding in men is much more common.

If this whole event was somehow fake that would easily be the best acting Will Smith ever did.

Lucky for Chris Rock he was making fun of Will Smith and not someone like Alec Baldwin.

The final guitar battle with the remix of "The Devil Went Down to Georiga" in Guitar Hero 3 was a great.

Someone hasn't played Elden Ring

Elden Ring just came out and its been too early for it to have any effect on new games. I'm talking about games that clearly have inspiration from Dark Souls in the past decade.

One example of a game ruined by Dark Souls inspiration was Hallow Knight. It had some long run backs to bosses AND it discouraged exploration (a key part of Metroidvania games) by having you lose resources on death and forces you to run back to your corpse if you want to recover them.

The Souls series is responsible for popularizing garbage ideas in video games such as running back to bosses instead of having a checkpoint right in front of them.

I can see people thinking the New Colossus is just too goofy, but the New Order blends seriousness and goofiness perfectly. Gameplay is great in both games too, unless you are playing New Colossus on a controller, the game clearly wasn't designed of it.

Was good fun on the Strikers board at launch watching people try to play it like a warriors game and then crying that its too hard.

LOL people thought the game was hard? I suppose it could be true for people who exclusively play RPGs though.

I just realized that without Fortnite, Epic wouldn't have the ability to money hat a bunch of games into exclusivity on their shitty storefront. Deleting Fortnite is the easy choice now.

Fortnite I guess since it really popularized making everything a battle royale. I don't feel like League of Legends made other games shoehorn in modes that don't really fit in games.

They should have done this video with Ulysses. That is a character who who says a lot without much meaning. There really isn't anything repetitive or unnecessary in that speech Caesar is giving.

EDIT: To be clear, I think Caesar's ideas are stupid. It is a useful speech though for insight in to his character and worldbuidling.

The Legion may be able to take Vegas but they can't take California. The NCR's "control" of the Vegas area is held up by strings and on the very edge of their territory.

You can even convince the Legion general that the Legion's rapid conquest is a really stupid idea that overextends the Legion (just like the NCR is overextended) and he retreats.

If I recall, that is the beer he uses since it was the only one in the fridge at the time he shot the first video with it.

A good episode, the only real issue is that it kind of drags on too long in the middle and some of the jokes seem forced. Also, great use of tension and humor with the Ernie bit at the end. I'll take a new episodes like this every so often instead of the terrible stuff that is rapidly churned out.
