6 guilds bothered to kill the Jailer (on heroic) the first week. With over 240 having the option. I could understand if people were avoiding it due to it being more difficult than the mythic bosses, but it is merely due to a lack of guilds finding it worth their while to try.

I was trying real hard to fake being obstinate Red scanner. I was never actually sure if I was roleblocked so I figured the best way to do it was just pretend I was annoyingly hiding information. I was quite pleased when Ulti was taking my bait because it made me a bit certain that I was at least putting up a half decent effort at faking it.

I was nervous that maybe scum had a way of seeing through me and then when no power claimed I was worried I made a calculated play that ended up worthless/could backfire.

The Ben flip was a huge weight off my shoulders, obviously.

Ulti was only scum if Chris was scum in my mind, and if Chris was town Corrik needed to be hellmurdered immediately. Don't think it was really that complicated on that front.

Also my and Chris dying should have cleared Ulti in everyone's mind. But its fine it all worked out.

Anyway what probably happened was Disney was upset that Pixar made a movie that was too controversial with too limited appeal and this was a direct message to Pixar to focus on spitting out more Toy Story movies or something.

Encanto wasn't free, it was in theaters for a month before coming to Disney+.

This would be reasonable if stuff like this didn't have likely have wide approval from the top down to get through. There were plenty of ways to give unsatisfying endings without...this.

Not a single character had their motivation for coming to the Shadowlands paid off.

The most fleshed out character of the expansion was Sire Denathrius and his story was finished with the launch of the expac.

Decades of WoW charactertization was destroyed for this.

The entire ending of Wrath of the Lich King was destroyed for this.

How does anyone let this get through to live.

The jailer wanted to...eat Azeroth...to stop the...big bad that no one knows about?

I mean, yeah, thats the point.It is tuned for double legendaries but they spit it out prior. They basically put out content that isn't meant to be played by a majority of those that actually want to play it.

Oh and further to the point. Rather than care about the playerbase as a whole all the stupid loot restrictions are designed purely to attempt to prevent the Jailer from dying week 1, but at the cost of handicapping every player not involved in the race. In a couple weeks every player gets double legendaries. Thoroughput is going to go through the roof, everything is going to be significantly easier. Meaning most of the playerbase will never see how these fights are designed to be done this week. But at the same time, you've essentially locked most of this content out from 99.99% of the playerbase for an extra couple of weeks.

Not coincidentally this time assures that most people that want to see this content and resubbed with the patch would need to sub for at least 2 months.

Ok so finally saw this weeks campaign quest...Blizzard didn't even bother to fully flesh this out. Characters are supposed to be dealing with their memories but they just kind of moan and groan and they make no reference to anything. They could have put a picture on the wall or made us fight something related to their memories. But nope just generic sha creatures pop out to be murdered.

Oh and before that there is a 4 part quest where we are supposed to do a bunch of things to a creature to infuse it and then kill it. I assume it was going to interact with the area around it. But all of these steps are done by just killing the thing despite being referenced as 4 separate steps on the quest log.

Oh and one more thing with the way the game works. The Jailer doesn't drop tier. In fact his loot isn't particularly special at all.

So all these heroic splits don't even include the final, and possibly(Maybe? Who knows maybe he sucks, Hell who am I kidding he probably sucks) most interesting boss.

Oh and if you think the game is still good for the highest of high end raiders...The top guilds in the world have spent all day, I'm talking literally all day, reclearing heroic repeatedly for tier sets. Blizzard created a situation where they just run multiple itirations of characters just to hope one of them will luck into gear. It has never looked less fun and with the world first race now streamed as a way to potentially build hype...well, it is a really bad show, to say the least. Not very entertaining.

The world doesn't even have a mythic kill at this point. And since everyone follows the lead of these top guilds, no one is attempting mythic at this point.

For those not running at the very top, the return of tier sets has meant running LFR/Normal/Heroic in desperate hope for tier set drops...with personal loot making things incredibly difficult for everyone since you cannot trade tier unless you already have it.

Really everything just serves to put an even bigger gap between communities within WoW that were already growing smaller.

Why are you having a dispute with Han he isn't even here anymore.

If you didn't know better and you accept Chris as scum, you'd swear there is no way Ben is town.

Also not sure what the hate is on Han. His posts were pretty normal, mostly productive, played a decent role in making sure Death got nuked.

And hell I got pissed(And honestly a little demoralized) when he told me to start participating but also not to participate because my lack of participation made everything worthless. It still never made sense and I was really irked.

It is not normally a conflict. But attaching it to a mason certainly is.

Also we keep trying to wishy wash imply voting other people while I'm re-reading with my destroyed sleep schedule that I haven't been able to fix.

To sum up an even simpler reason why we are voting Chris: Scum seems to have had the power to shoot over protection. Chris has shown a high level of activity and interest in this game. Scum could have just shot him. So basically rule 1.

Also without that strongman(Which could very well be limited) you are potentially setting up a system where the masons could not die with doctor alive by saving the BG mason. The doctor claim was very clearly chris reading the situation as bad and going for the desperate play.

Something from Death early in topic 1: He devotes a small post to Ulti, and his next post is a small post devoted to Scare. Pretty much leaves no chance of both Ulti and Scare being scum(Could be one, but basically in no world both).

Well, you arent wrong, if somehow you are town we pretty much immediately burn Corrik.

I am in no hurry to end the day. I would very much like some time to read through the game knowing for sure Han is town perspective as well.

That said if it really is just Chris/Ulti/Muyo and we're wasting time with an obvious answer in front of us I'm going to be disappointed. But it very well might be.

Radahn might be the worst Souls gimmick boss. Not fun at all and pretty much everything one shots me, though I may be underleveled and I probably should get more Vigor. 20 just isn't cutting it anymore.

Didn't have the patience to keep dealing with him last night, gonna try again today.

I've put in a few attempts at level 44 and am not sure it is possible.

Also I'm not saying we're not murdering chris(Hes murdered) but we really can make better use of the day.

You guys get death before I woke up are we trying to murder Chris before I've even seen the day.

The big hands are scary looking and have some harder to judge attacks but they stagger fairly easily. Was able to just kind of mash into them with a dagger. Took a full stamina bar but it'd kill them.

Also I hate that people keep coming back around to Chang being scum.

If Chang is scum you think he sticks his head out to protect town Ulti? When town is likely going to do scums bidding on their own at that point? I just don't get it.

If you think Chang is scum you should pretty much be assuming Ulti is scum first but somehow this drops off everyones list.

Understood. Though I will add that I don't agree with that. Taking a towns vote really doesn't mean much until MYLO. Better that town gets the power abilities. The vote is usually going to have the majority agreeing on one person after day 1.

You say that but last game hinged on a 1 vote swing.

Likelihood is it means very little.

As for Corrik, I will say that in the previous game I played with him I found him extraordinarily difficult to read (as I'm sure most people do in their first game with him). He hasn't posted much today so I don't have a ton of material here, but I caught a couple of tidbits that have me thinking he's town.

Corrik's alignment by himself right now would be ???. But with some of the people that I am assuming are scum at this point I lean a bit town on him. He tends to kind of feel himself when hes got a better scumteam and come out of the shadows a bit more early.

oh you have no idea how cranky I am right now. 8th member of my static ghosted us today and I was actually looking forward to raiding and I've already been in a mostly sour mood and I had to get up earlier for work today and it was cold and rainy outside.

I definitely mentioned one person that is not Chris. Hell two people.

The lore could be deep or a more shallowing experience but it was at the very least something the player could follow.

What is there now isn't lore. It is just a mess.
