I mean, tbf, the whole "career-drop-off" moments are a little unfair. An actor like Tobey is always going to be able to find work if he really wants to. Most actors are only going to get to be in one big franchise as the lead guy, that's just the nature of the job. Dwayne's are the exception to the rule. For every big budget movie, Tobey still has to compete against every other widely known actor for spots.

Don't drink it on an empty stomach. I have to have food in my stomach or most Mtn Dew flavors will make my stomach hurt. A few other sodas will do it too. But only when drinking on an empty stomach.

Yeah, it was weird. My stomach will only hurt after drinking way too many cans of coke (strangely, it's only the canned coke that will make my stomach hurt, not the fountain/bottles), but never after just 1.

With all due respect, is it really creativity if you copy a fairy tale down to its exact details? Walt Disney not sticking to the source material is a good thing imo, and something all book fans, comic or otherwise, need to understand. Just because it's "book-accurate" that doesn't make it good, or at the very least, the only way to be good.

This is in reference to Tolkien's comments more so than this thread. I think Walt didn't just want to make great animation, but good stories too.

Im not a fan of the shift rules. The hitters can just hit opposite of the shift. Theres a simple solution built into the defense, but players just swing for power now every time. Besides, the game doesnt become more exciting with 1-2 additional seeing-eye singles per game, which the shifts might be taking away.

As someone else has mentioned, if you wanna shorten games, then shorten commercial breaks.

This has already been addressed. Until homeruns are harder to hit, no player is ever going to intentionally try to hit past the shift.
