I don't understand from that snippet how that isn't interest free.I mean, I'd have to look into it, but I assume if your interest paid is less than interest owed, as long as you make your required payment, the rest would be covered, and interest won't be added. Part of your payment will still go towards interest, but the remaining interest you'd otherwise have to pay based on the interest rates of the loan would not be added. This seems like a big W. It's not as good as interest-free, but this will help many out with savings, if the 5% works like I'm hoping. I make about 61k right now, so 5% of that is approximately 3k a year, or 250 a month (125 a paycheck). It's not some "all but guaranteed" thing people keep thinking it is. Edit: I'd also argue that it's really dumb to use an "on average" for one-term presidents as if presidents are "due" for one-term presidencies based on the time since the last one. Ignoring the contextual reasoning behind one-term presidents is a really flawed way of thinking. I mean, even winners shouldn't be looked at the same. Bush's re-election victory is far from Obama's.
